Great tutorial..Makes me wish I had a HP printer that could do decals..It'd be so much better than trying to paint out decals.
Wheel_Jack
oh, it doesn't have to be an HP printer Sami. Any inkjet will do. smiletf.gif

Inkjet? is that a brand or type?
Wheel_Jack
it's a type of printer icon_wink.gif . like you have diesel cars and gas cars.

"All inkjet printers function using the same basic principles. Tiny ink droplets are "jetted" (or pushed) out multiple holes onto paper in a controlled and systematic fashion. This is where the term "inkjet" comes from." http://www.statssheet.com/articles/article38540.html

Ah. That kinda answers my question. What I was really asking was If Inkjet was a feature in all brands of Printer, or is it only associated with a specific brand of computer (like how Microsoft only was only available with Dell computers)? I probably should read the article, but I'm to lazy to right now tounge1.gif

Inkjet is currently the most common kind of printer on the market. It doesn't matter the brand.
The other option(s) would be a laser printer or if you really want to go old school, dot matrix.

and what's this about Microsoft only being with Dell computers?

until recently, dell has only mad Microsoft programs. Now, dell is going to make their own programs. Not sure if Microsoft was available wit anything else. I'm sure there's a better metaphor somewhere, but I can't remember it it. anyway thanks.

Unless you bought an apple computer, it would have come filled to the brim with Microsoft programs, including a Microsoft operating system (Windows). Even if it was an apple, chances are it would have things such as Word and Internet Explorer, both Microsoft programs.

There was never anything exclusive between Dell and Microsoft, Microsoft has been around longer than Dell has, and other PC companies such as HP (which also makes Compaq) would likely have had exactly the same amount of Microsoft programs added as factory standard.

Lol, thread de-railment though, where's the Scorch Pit around here?
