I'm not really getting how the Bat-bike is supposed to sell tickets.

Would be cool if the bike looked good. But it doesn't...

I just don't get the relevance of his new toy to the plot of the movie... I was hoping for something a bit more Joker-y and a bit less HAY CHECK OUT MY RIDE

Especially since it's not even tumbler cool.

At least it doesn't have ghey bat fins on it.

ya I know, but batman on a bike is still ghey ghey ghey. I trust Nolan and Bale... but I don't see the need to up the anti with the Bat-toys.

well, practically speaking, a bike would be a lot easier to use/hide/whatever... and you know how they've always been about the practicality with their Batman (which rules BTW). I agree that having one just for show is ghey, but these guys figured out how to make the Bat-ears and Bat-cape not ghey, so I'm cool.

Except for that cape bit.


I actually think the best "Batmobile" would be a nondescript black car with tinted windows. Something that Batman could cruise around in without attracting attention. Plus, it could be left on a street in a dodgy part of town without villians (or petty criminals) saying, "Hey, there's the Batmobile, let's steal its valve stems."

My very first thought when clicking on the poster link was "please don't let this be ghey." Whoops...

I think this is exactly why we got a picture of the Batman's crotch rocket.
It's a lot more fun for joe-braindead-public, than rigor-mortis.
