I've been DYING to get into geocaching for about 2 years now and I haven't had the chance because of lots of stuff happening in my life, not to mention lack of $$$ to buy a decent GPS. Now, thanks to tax rebate monies, I'll be able to start!

Does anyone else play this "game"? If so, do you have any hidden caches? Share their coordinates and helpful hints here!

The admin of Lexicon (http://www.transformersfanfic.com/) is a geocacher. I used to go geocaching with her and another Transfan. I don't know if she's still currently geocaching.

One of my friends did that for a while after getting her GPS. Went on a couple hikes with her but that was it. Was mostly just junk trinkets in tupperware.

YES! Occasionally you get some interesting stuff, like an interesting piece of Lego... but yeah.

I recently got a GPS and I've never tried geocaching... never something I've personally been interested in, just something I did for a while cos my friends were into it (mmm... peer pressure fresh).

it's about the journey.. not the prize in the box...

some stuff like geocoins are neat... you can track where they've been.
