I know that building a tripple changer is hard, and I must say this one is not perfect, but two thumbs up for doing it =)
Thats the first real Blitzwing I saw since ... the original Blitzwing

And to be fair: I like it much much more than the Animated Version !

very busy and the two alt modes are at odds with each other but the effort is fantastic, especially seeing how difficult building must have been. My one suggestion might have been to use ramjet's nosecone as it is smaller, but that would open up a whole new can of worms with the head.

Now this is something new. I like the bot mode. And all things considered, it works pretty well for the Blitzwing. The original had some serious issues with the ALT jet mode, as does the new Animated one. I don't think there is any way around the kibble in Jet mode.

That's FANTASTIC! My sombrero goes off to you, good sir

....but what is he doing to that little red robot? o_0
EDIT:
I knew the side-view of the tank mode looked familiar!

That's a pretty daring build SOV. I was looking at a similar project, but I haven't figured out what I'm going to do with the wings yet. One thing I'll suggest, you should be able to do without changing anything, is keep the cockpit folded in the chest in tank mode. Just flip the nosecone up to cover his head.
The paintjob is really nice and looks well balanced in all the modes.

Yeah! I'd buy twelve! ^_^ And such a genious custom! BTW who's head is that? Looks like it's supposed to be a Seekers head but you added? Or is this a new head altogether?

A Very innovative approach that does not lack in creative design.
As said both molds look a bit busy but all things considered it still works well in either mold. The paint job is outstanding, does a wonderful job of capturing the original design/look of the G1 toy as well as updating it for the Classics line.
FWIW I love the animated look for Blitzwing but seeing something similar to this for the Classics line would be

Woah! That has to be one of the best customs I've seen in a while now. Good job!!!
Wow, didnt expect so many comments. thx all... the head is just starscream with a visor put over it.
7ylerse7en: Glad u find it ugly and beautiful, it was what i was going for since he is a behemoth of a tank and jet... always saw him to be more menacing and what not since he's a bloody war machine
If u guys are interested in buying him, pm me and let me know
Thx again!

I think a few people here, like myself, were unimpressed with the animated toy offering, so yours is a like a gift from heaven, really.
By Primus, that animated toy version was a festering turd of a design...

VERY decent Blitzwing robot mode. Looks spot on color wise, good painting, and even his alt modes LOOK like Blitzwing. Good job man!

I mYSELF am dissapointed with the Animated one. I think his scale is way off. Kinda like Supreme Cybertron Starscream, but not quite as bad. Not to de-rail the thread, but Animated Blitzy isnt the highlight on Animated want list.
Except LATER in the show you find out that Starscream IS that big and bigger, .... when the wrong colored Voyager version comes out as an exclusive. Anyways ...

I am! I think that tank mode is superb! The jet mode suffers form kibble, but so does movie Starscream and that doesn't transform into a tank

And the robot mode is total Blitzwing. I love how you gave both modes totally different color schemes that look like the original G1 toy.
Awesome!

I'm also a big fan of Blitzwing, the toy and his G1 character in the cartoon. Great job on Movie version Blitzwing, at least that is what he looks like to me. Starscream head with a visor I think is perfect. Your colors are great also. I wish I'd done mine a little darker.

I'll be honest, it looks like shot in all modes. But y'know? I don't care. This thing kicks ass. I'm not going to say it's better than nothing, because that's just an insult to this thing.
This thing makes me think of a huge mass of parts... Rushing at you, ready to tear you apart. I imagine that rather than perfecting his alt modes so that he can hide he went for function over form. Flying and ballistics.
I've had this iteration of Transformers in my mind for a while now: The transformers have to make their alt modes by hand, designing everything and shaping it all. I imagine that some take pride in their appearance, while others take pride in their function. And every once in a while there are those that excel in both criteria (PRIME!). That I think would work well for a comic book/cartoon and it makes me accept bad toys a hell of a lot easier (As long as the thing holds together, at least). It's how I got over Classics Astrotrain's not to scale altmodes: He made the train so that he could hide and with a hitch haul stuff around for the Decepticons. But his shuttle mode is so that he can move fast and so that if Megatron needs it he can become an orbital gun. The shuttle mode only has to look like a real shuttle in the sky for disguise, despite being smaller than a normal shuttle.
