Meh, it was an okay episode. The "moral" was done kinda ham-handedly,
although it's a little ironic that Bulkhead was all "piracy is wrong!" when most people are now waiting for the episode to come out on Youtube
Also, I was a little ticked at first that
we didn't get to see Blurr's robot mode, but now that I think of it, it'll just make it cooler when
he finally does transform.Spoiler tags are fun.LUKE, I AM YOUR FATHER!Hee hee hee.

Woo! It's in!
Edit: The colors of those cars bumped off were awfully close to Dead End and Wildrider.
Edit 2: Seen it all now. It was pretty okay. Blurr looks a bit more G1 than I first expected. Definitely not one of the best episodes though. Also a pity that Blurr neither transformed nor spoke..

An ok episode that would have been a good episode had they shown Blurr transform into robot mode, if for nothing else then the payoff factor.
Incedently, I also ended up seeing Speed Racer today o_O

Nice Stunticon homage. Overall the episode was 'meh'. Hope this is the low point of the season. I'm not so sure if that is Blurr. There was no indication of it. Sure the color scheme was on target, but there's no allspark fragment embedded in it. I mean, it could be Blurr but I dunno....

It's not mininova. Mininova is just a site. What happened is only a few people had the entire file, but plenty of people had it up to 80%. Because of that, you were able to get up to 80% very fast, while the people who had the entire file had their upload capacity stretched to the limit.

i was Read some where that when blurr will talk it's going to be Josh Moschitta - (Blurr) he talk for blurr in transformers the movie. and i think his father talk for him him season 3.
i also read that blurr will be part of the Elite guard.

The racing cars looked more like some of the minicons, especially the orange "Dukes of Hazzard" one. I checked the micromaster patrols and they didnt look like them. Perhaps with BB "joining" them, he could fit dragstrip's colours and form a homage "stunticons"?

I kinda have to say, this episdoe started out well, but ended poorly. I really think they could have written a better ending then BB watching the mysterious car driving away, with him all: "who are you?" It was rather disappointing frankly.
Which is a shame, cause like I said, it started out well.
Of course as most of us know,(Or at the very least, speculate.) the mysterious car is Blur. Not getting to see him transform is a big let down, because it seems like that is what the episode was building up to; but in the end we're kind of left with no closure and the whole episode just kind of falls apart.
I'm going to have to agree with Blitz, this episode was "meh"
I didn't hate it, it had some good moments,(Blitzwing: "Ooooh..dizzy...Not liking the dizzy...") but I don't know if I could say I liked it either.

Sure it's Blurr.
The car was controlled by the AllSpark Remote, something shown to affect only Transformers. However, the question remains...Does Blurr have an AllSpark fragment in him, or not? AllSpark Key says no. So, then how does he function? He must have a Spark. Only way a Transformer would have a Spark without having come into contact with the AllSpark or AllSpark Key on Earth is when they came from Cybertron. Blurr's design is also sufficiently different from the other cars to assume it to have significant otherworldly influences.
If the rumour of Blurr and the Elite Guard is true, it could very well be possible that Blurr was left on Earth by either Magnus or Sentinel, because they did not completely trust Optimus. Maybe Blurr had a double mission, keeping an eye on Optimus' crew while looking out for AllSpark fragments himself. He located one, however that one was the AllSpark Remote used by Master Disaster, who immediately found out its uses and took Blurr captive. From there, "Speed Demon" and "Velocity" take off.

I know they don't host the file. They do however host the tracker. Their database was on the fritz, making it so that you could ony get through once every few refreshes. Normally I download these things in just a few minutes.

Yeah, that was cute. I also noticed the Stargate Zat-Gun sound effect when Sari found the remote. (Activation plus firing) Kind of an interesting side note.
Personally, I thought the episode was all right. I loved the chase scene with Blitzwing and 'Bee--especially when Blitzwing switched to the heavy ordinance.
Blurr being mysterious for now is fine with me. Yeah, I was hoping we'd see him transform too, but I think it leaves it open for later. Seeing it from the point of view of a kid not so into the transformers universe but still liking this show, it works perfectly--They don't know who Blurr is, or that they should be expecting him. It's a fine setup for later on.

Funny. No one seems to like this episode. I watched this with a person today who has never seen TF and she absolutely loved it and agreed with me that the writing was top notch. The best part is that this ep is still miles ahead of anything that's been written for TF in the past 3-4 years.
I enjoyed, it was fun.

How Ironic. I just watched this after seeing Speed Racer tonight.
Didn't think this was any better/worse than anything written thus far. Am I only one that got Armada chills when Prime announces to the other autobots that he's tracked another all spark shard? All spark shard equals minicons? Oh God I hope not.
The piracy issue was kind of uneven and poorly situated but it was nice to see Bulkhead finally not making an ass of himself for an entire episode.
The overall plot with Bumblebee trying expose an underground racing circuit as well as the driver of the mystery racer was cool enough. It was funny how at mid point everything that was built up turns into this epic length chase between Bumblebee and Blitzwing. Blitzwing is always awesome, and the characterization never seems to get old. Fanzone was good too. Didn't bother me too much that Blur didn't transform in the end. He will eventually so it'll be neat to see how and when he decides to reveal himself to the autobots.
My only complaint and this is a big one. I don't mind the writers switching gears with these past two episodes I just don't appreciate hanging plot threads. Suddenly nobody seems to care Sumdac is missing and Sari seems no longer concerned with what she may or may not be. I can only assume the writers will eventually return to these critical plot threads but for the time being it just bugs me that they are no longer being addressed.
With the exception of Megatron's brief appearances in both eps I could almost swear nothing anywhere has changed following his resurrection. New characters are nice to see but at the same time the plot has to progress and right now between Megatron hiding underground and sending out his loyal Decepticons and the autobots searching out all spark shards (damn gotta catch em all) I'm not seeing a lot of plot progression at this point.

It's kind of like the writers' view on the Decepticons -- if you showcase them every week, they lose their punch. Let the story ebb and flow; it's okay.

It's nice to see that even though the decepticons aren't always going to grand schemes like stealing energy conductors and blood rubies, that they're still there.

This makes sense, because
TIVO is only sold in the US and Canada. It's a DVR that not only records stuff you want to watch, but stuff it thinks you might like based on "household viewing habits."
In my house, it would probably record a bunch of cartoons, cooking shows, WWII documentaries and soft-core pr0n.
