Full Version: Superdelegate Offers Support... For A Price

California superdelegate Steven Ybarra is offering his vote to either Hillary Clinton or Barrack Obama... for a price. For $20 million, he will cast his vote. He intends to use the funds to drive an effort to register and educate Mexican-American voters for turnout in November.

Watch the video here.

I'm sorry, but this is shortsighted, agenda driven and downright unethical. Demanding $20 million for this vote should be considered criminal bribery. Funnelling the $20 million towards just one segment of the voting public is borderline racist. Besides, the biggest question should be... if Obama or Clinton end up falling for this... will they be guaranteed the votes? Wouldn't that be a form of vote-fixing?

Very shady dealings if you ask me.

Sounds pretty illegal?

I'm not really an expert on this kind of thing, but at the very least it sounds kind of unethical.

Yes, this is illegal!

No, he won't be taken seriously.

Yes, he will be removed from ever being a delegate of any kind.

For a super delegate this guy is super stupid. first and foremost, to be a super delegate one should at least be aware of the voter regulations and laws in place; selling your vote is illegal and is a federal crime.
