I wish I'd had more time. Anyhoo... here's my entry!

hey, here are a few last-minute entries; these are all vector files, so any community- or sponsor-requested changes can be made pretty easily. they also each use only a few colors, so printing should be less expensive.

these two ribcage designs aren't exactly "faces," but a few other entries had faction symbols so I figured I'd post them. I had been thinking about for a while, but no way to get it done - maybe 80stees will like them enough to print them, too?

WOAW -- talk about leaving things to the last possible moment...!

I only just reveived notification of this competition a mere two hours ago, so my entrant is rather rushed (and arguably incomplete). At any rate, here it is:



I'll confess that this didn't turn out AT ALL as I'd originally envisioned (it was supposed to be Wheelie when I began!), but I'm reasonably pleased with the end result, nonetheless. This actually marks my very first attempt at illustration for nearly FIVE YEARS (which is probably quite evident from the presentation itself). As you can surmise, a quasi cel-shaded approach was adopted with this particular piece, because I felt that it was both traditional (with aesthetic regard to the old cartoon), and would also lend itself well to the "screen printing" technique of t-shirt adornment. Anyhow, I see that I'm up against some stiff competition, here -- excellent work all round, folks!

Oh well, that's that, then -- best of luck to everyone who's taken the time to enter, and may the best Cybertronian win!

Ah crud, I missed the little part about EASTERN standard time. I thought I had three hours left.

And I had a fantastic idea for a shirt of just Unicron's floating head.

Bummer.

(Edit: It wasn't just an idea, I was part way done with it. Just not far enough )
