Do we still get to change our screennames twice a year?

Make that once. The second name change last year was a Pete Special.

Yeah, great, now I can't login with my TFormers.com account. Is there something that I missed, because I sure hope so?

Log in using the e-mail address you signed up with as your ID; it'll switch over to your user name when you're logged in.

I like the integration into ENI. Very cool.

I'm not liking this whole different way of logging in, most of the time when I try to reply or just log in, I'm sent to http://members.enewsi.com/ It's really getting irritating. Even when I log out on that enewsi, it still says I'm logged in.

Sorry about that. We hope people will find this a better option to keeping multiple accounts. The "LogOut" link only logs you out form these forums. You can always just come direct to the forums and login on the front page.
Lord Madhammer
One nice thing about this new login is that by using your e-mail address as your login ID, it is much more secure, since everyone knows everyone else's board ID. smiletf.gif
ROSEDOGGYDOG
So does this mean the "search" function will become even more inept?
Lord Madhammer
Please explain the problem(s) you're having with the search feature.

Uhm...I'm actually really missing me being "anonymous". Is there any way that can be reinstated?
MagnaVolt
I'm still having trouble with my original account. Is there anyway that my MikePrime account can be merged with my new MagnaVolt account?
tom servo
How come I have to type my email address and password into the ENI members page now to get into TFans? Am I the only person bothered by this? I didn't join that site. I joined THIS site! Now if I want to even voice my concerns I still have to go though that ENI BS. There are probably people who just aren't going to bother jumping through those hoops and just stop coming here.
Goktimus Prime
You've created this thread in the TRANSFORMERS General Discussion section, and this has nothing to do with Transformers. It should have been posted in the Ask The Administration section. There's also an existing thread about this whole ENI thing made by BaCon here.

Remember kids, it is always better to post in an existing thread instead of starting a new one! smiletf.gif

Plus, there are better ways to voice your concerns. rolleyestf.gif

Sorry, but these changes are a matter of convience for the millions of other readers who visit the ENI sites. This site is part of the ENI now and we've opened your existing account to all the other sites and forums on the network. It is only one additional click to get here and we hope you will stay with us as we continue to build the premier online service for Pop Culture Fans and collectors. Thanks!
Knight Rodimus
That's all fine and good, but how can I use my old username from TFans? I've had to become Knight Rodimus, now, whereas before I was RodimusZero. rumblecry.gif
Lord Madhammer
Log in with your e-mail address and you should be able to get here as your old ID. PM me if you are having difficulties.

Have you tried logging in with the e-mail address you signed up with? If so, and it still isn't working, PM me and we'll work it out.

Can I change the E-mail adress associated with this account, maybe to one I've used in the past year in a half?

At last, we have finally learned what that dreaded clock mystery was leading up to.

I'm not some crank who screams "identity theft" at every turn, but I'm a bit put out that I've been done this "favor" or being signed up though some new site that now has my email address and password. It all feels a bit like the "free" magazine subscriptions that I used to have to hock when I worked a register at the video store. Like this is all just a cheap way to inflate ENI's member numbers so they can crow about how big they are.
tom servo
Sorry. My mistake.

FYI this isn't a new site; TFormers has always been a part of the ENI network. We're just trying to better integrate the various discussion forums associated with ENI sites. Rest assured that nobody has shared/sold your e-mail address. It is simply the e-mail address that you signed up with when you joined TFans, and it is still in the same user database that it was in last month.

The unified login doesn't recognize that individual board setting right now, unfortunately. It's the kind of thing that would be resolved by a future Invision Power Board software update.

I changed the e-mail address on file for your MagnaVolt account to match your MikePrime account. You should be able to log in as your old self now. I also sent you an e-mail, so you can reply to me that way if you have problems logging in.

Question: is the TFormers forum login always going to point the the ENI page? The haha.png confused me a bit by making me follow the white rabbit through 3 different pages to log in and get back here...

What link will get me here the quickest - should i save a link to the eni page? I really couldnt care less for all the other rubbish on offer!

(but fair enough if it pays for the admin of the site etc)

Hi,

Ive been a TFans member since its conception and Im not happy about this eni thing. This site seems to continually fail to send cookies to my pc via firefox and I always have to log into TFans again after a few days or so.

Now, I have the added annoyance of being told at the TFans login page that it doesnt work and then being redirected to eni.

Im sorry, but im simply not interested in eni. I joined TFans, not some corporate website. If people want to assimilate my user details into eni then fine. I have no problem with that.

However, I DO have a problem with the TFans page not being properly intergrated with eni. The TFans login page should be coded that we simply do not notice the change.

Furthermore, this thread should be pinned at the top of TFans (if not done so already) and it should be posted at TFormers as a news item.

Please make this so.

Thanks for making TFans "open to all" but please allow us TFans users to use our own beloved site "as was".

We'll get right on that.

FYI TFans has always been a part of TFormers, which has always been a part of ENI. (Look at the top of the page.) It sounds to me like your only problem is your browser not accepting cookies for whatever reason. I'd suggest the usual troubleshooting steps -- clearing your cache, etc. (I'm using Firefox on a PC as well... no issues here.)

THanks madhammer.

However, i had the same problem again today. I tried to view a pic at TFans and it said i had to log in. then when i hit log in (as firefox already remembered my password and details), i was sent to the eni page where im already logged in.

so i guess that the fault lies with TFans/eni and not my browsers cookies as I thought at first.

I still cant view stuff if i just come straight to TFans. I have to go to eni first.

I dont want to do this. Its annoying.

please help!

What all of you have to consider is there are 10,000s other members on the rest of ENI that might want to access these forums too. The drama that is being laid on is uncalled for Primal-Convoy. ALL the forums have a login on the home page. You can use that to login directly to the forums and bypass the ENI Members page. See below for the screen shot:
