Remember, Megs said it was an informant on Cybertron - Ironhide was at the location of one of the spacebridges.

So that rules out Sentinel Prime, Ironhide and just about any Transformer we've seen thus far - except for Arcee

Oh and how long has Megs had this double agent? He just came back online not too long ago. A sleeper agent perhaps?

It's more than likely someone we haven't seen yet. If it's an agent on Cybertron, we probably haven't seen him yet.

I actually hope not, if it's the case that we spend an entire episode trying to figure out who the "mole" is. Because as soon as you see Shockwave with an Autobot logo anyone who has ever followed TF will know better. And the creators are certainly aware the G1-era fanbase is watching this program as evidenced by all the homages.

Now, if they go ahead and tell the audience up front that Shockwave is the mole and focus the episode more on trying to catch him, I think it could work very well.

I bet it's Jetfire/Jetstorm. I know this is a different continuity but in some other continuities Jetfire has started out as a Decepticon. And given that Hasbro mentioned a toy version of Jetfire/Jetstorm combo as being the same mold but different colors (fire and ice) then reinforces this idea moreso. 2 characters (or could be same character but different name depending on which side he's on) packaged together with the same mold but different coloring? Double agent!

I only say this because I only care what the actual story states, and not some website's card game that could be totally FUBAR'D - and probably is because it lists Megatron as an Autobot and Prowl as a Decepticon as well.

I doubt this too. Hasbro jumped in because they didn't want Rodimus Prime's character destroyed by him being a jerk so they made him Sentinal Prime. Do you think they'd be cool with Ironhide being a Con? He's friggin Ironhide.

Especially after using him a very high grossing movie...

While I agree with the other improperly listed Transformers the location of the space bridges doesn't hold up as a good reason. Megatron is building his own bridge to conquer Cybertron from within. Meaning he apparently would be able to use the space bridge to go directly to Cybertron.

One thing I did find goes against Ironhide being the double agent is this: Ironhide is on the rim of the galaxy, where the fighting is. Ultra Magnus pretty much confirms that with his 'similar reports' line of text. But Megatron clearly states the double agent is on Cybertron.

I think it's Jetstorm, I mean he's propably gonna be a decepticon, and he would have had to have been an Autobot at some time to have a blue eye, so I guess that puts it at the fact that he was an Autobot but now is a Decepticon.

I seriously doubt it would be Counterpunch/punch or Mirage, it would just be way to obvious.

So once it's discovered that Jetstorm is the double agent, will he have a change of heart, go back to the Autobots, change his name and become leader of the Aerialbots?
