The board is being all crazy for me. Every word I type pops up as misspelled in Spell Check, The shoutbox keeps randomly diappearing, including the controls and such, WHen I reply to posts it puts a bunch of weird code all over the place, and I've got this rash...you know...on my genitals.

Why is the boards being so wonky?

Sincerely,
Burn-y and Itch-y in Spokane

EDIT: SEE WHAT I MEAN? Also, I have already checked my browser, and all my other sites work fine.

Also, my posts seem to be disappearing.

There is NO WAY we could do that to your Browser. You've got a virus or some other problem.

I'll say he's got some problems!

Seriously though, that sounds like a virus or something, dude. Run a virus scanner on your system or just shoot your computer with a shotgun. Either way, problem solved thumbsup1.gif

yea because i'm running firefox and am having 0 problems.

the board just went byebye for a minute or two about half an hour ago, but i just got a board error page.

I'm running Firefox on a Mac, have NEVER had virus problems, and only had these problems on THIS one board yesterday, and even then it only lasted about an hour. I refuse to believe this has anything to do with me or my computer. Instead, I will choose to blame it on the Iraq War, the Hostess Corporation, and Bank Of America.

I'm sure one or more of them had something to do with my computer acting all wonky.

On a side note: Do they MAKE viruses for Macs, and how do you scan for one? Do they have virus scanning software for macs?
Lord Madhammer
Don't be silly.

NOW DO YOU SEE WHY I'M SO CONFUSED?!?!?!?

see, that theres your problem

also, yes, they make virii for macs. they are far and few between, but they do exist. to answer your second question

http://www.google.com/search?q=mac+anti-vi...lient=firefox-a

virii are less prevalent in mac software, and more prevalent in windows software for the simple reason that windows is more widely used, hence there are more victims resulting in more laughs. although it would be supremely hilarious to catch a mac user with their pants down spouting about how macs are so secure. remember, security is a myth. virii exist for all operating systems.

Security is a myth? It's not that hard to lock your PC down to the extent that few viri would get in.

Hell, switching to Opera would take care of most viri that Firefox couldn't stop. It doesn't have as many security holes as even Firefox, and is used even less.

Or better yet, pull the internet plug. Guaranteed you won't get any viruses from the internet then. tounge1.gif

Hey there chaps. If you've updated your Firefox recently you may notice that it has a spellcheck feature now! So you get stuff like this:
