I'm running Firefox on a Mac, have NEVER had virus problems, and only had these problems on THIS one board yesterday, and even then it only lasted about an hour. I refuse to believe this has anything to do with me or my computer. Instead, I will choose to blame it on the Iraq War, the Hostess Corporation, and Bank Of America.
I'm sure one or more of them had something to do with my computer acting all wonky.
On a side note: Do they MAKE viruses for Macs, and how do you scan for one? Do they have virus scanning software for macs?
see, that theres your problem
also, yes, they make virii for macs. they are far and few between, but they do exist. to answer your second question
http://www.google.com/search?q=mac+anti-vi...lient=firefox-avirii are less prevalent in mac software, and more prevalent in windows software for the simple reason that windows is more widely used, hence there are more victims resulting in more laughs. although it would be supremely hilarious to catch a mac user with their pants down spouting about how macs are so secure. remember, security is a myth. virii exist for all operating systems.
