I just think starscream should get him some of those allspark pieces and put them into some old military vehichles, maybe a helicoptor, a tank, a jeep a space shuttle and a transport thingie, and make his own brigade. That sure couldn't backfire on him.

stop giving me fanwood

BTW I love how they're collecting Allspark pieces and putting them in the empty All-box or whatever it's called.

You mean the Matrix?

Well, that's what it sort of looks like

OMG I TOTALLY CALLED THAT LIKE FOREVER AGO yeah that thing

I can't get enough of how bad ass Animated Megatron is.
Trainwreck
He finally fought like a badass, killing Starscream over and over with relative ease. I want to see more bots get killed, but permanently. That would make this show better than all the other crap out there, where no violent things happen. Spongebob, sheesh, give me a break.

I think that Montage was for everyone who always wanted Screamer dead All those years ago.

Look at it from the flipside.

Screamer's fans KNOW he's annoying. The writers know he's annoying. But he's likable because he's so persistent. I think that's what me and other Screamer fans like about him. He doesn't give up. Not in the face of death. Not in the face of his leader. Not after he's lost. Not after he's dead. TOTAL ambition.

By the way... an idea:

He has the Allspark fragment inside him. So maybe he can create life. It would be nifty if he made the Combaticons or Thundercracker and Skywarp by "cloning" himself. He seems like he needs backup, he needs supporters. And the only way he'd get that is to create them from scratch.

We never really got where the other jets came from or why they were so much like Starscream or why SS was one of the very few who could create new sparks. This could account for that.

Oh! And with his nifty little homing ability for the fragments, there's actually a reason to call him (and maybe his clones) "the Seekers", in-continuity.

That is the most out of bounds, yet totally awesome thing I think has ever been speculated about this show. While I doubt you're right, that would be totally badass and has my vote!

I wanted to see Decepticons or at least the double agent.

I know, right

play this http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/games/transformers/actionpacks/index.html
play if for a bit and then the computer will play a character thats the decepticon double agent we have seen who it is

Its IronHide
G.A.S.H.
Well, that doesn't mean much does it? Considering Megatron is also in the Autobot Deck and Prowl in the Decepticon deck...
Darth Caine
But judging from the fact that he's the only new character to appear on this newest episode, alongside with Megatron's mention about "double agent", doesn't that kinda coincide?
G.A.S.H.
Not really... that in itself doesn't mean anything... He's reporting massive problems, so the Elite Guard leave Earth to come home.
Of course, he could be the double agent, and luring them off Earth so that Megatron can find the All Spark easily, but yeah...
Those things don't mean anything IMO...
Whisky Tango Foxtrot
It's Wheelie. He's really a multi-dimensional being and has been secretly plotting the downfall of the Autobots across all continuities since the beginning.

It all makes sense now!
Lord Madhammer
Maybe we should put speculation about this double agent in another thread... you guys really suck at not giving stuff away optimuslaugh2.gif

Excellent episode.

Starscream dying repeatedly was pretty funny though at the same time a bit redundant. I love running gags but to always have Blitzwing and Lugnut dump him into the water repeatedly was a bit unrealistic.

After having him return three/four times after having him dumped I would have been like Dammit stop just throwing him off the cliff already, instead ionize him or something. Still pretty funny, and Megatron probably doesn't mind repeatedly killing off Starscream.

Sentinal Prime amazingly is able to prove himself a bigger a**hole than previous episodes. His blatant regard for traffic laws seems to fit his alt mode. A big freaking snowplow 4X4 that can pretty much plow through anything. Seeing how big he is compared to Prime I can see how most people are dissapointed in him only being a deluxe.

Awesome to see the Decepticons finally form as a team. Loving Blitzwing. Megatron is pure awesomeji1.gif

Animated.png FTW.

Yeah, Sentinel Prime's arseholeness really irked me, especially after he seemed to have made some progress at the Headmaster incident... (-_-) I was hoping that Sentinel would at least be less of a dick toward Optimus during private conversations just between the two of them when he's not trying to impress others. *sigh* that was an unfortunate leap backward for Sentinel's character development.

And after reading 5 pages of this thread I'm surprised that nobody's picked up the whole undead Starscream thing as another nod to G1*. icon_wink.gif

Although I would argue that he's technically not really a zombie - he retains his full persona and other attributes. Starscream is certainly undead, but he doesn't seem to be a zombie in the traditional sense, certainly not like other zombie TFs that we've seen in the past.

*that's right folks, I've actually restrained myself from posting another TF history lesson! icon_wink.gif

My son and I just finished watching it this morning. Another solid episode. I hope that this show goes on more many more seasons. The writing is great. I love the multidimensional characters that they are gradually building. After finishing watching the G1 series again with my son, it just re-enforces how flat the characters were in that show. Having characters just appear without any explanation was terrible. The story for TFA just seems to so cohesive, and for the most part, each ep advances the major plot line.

LOVE IT!!

Well...as in real life, people don't just change overnight - especially when they're as douche-y as Sentinel.
Goktimus Prime
Yes, but I was hoping to see some element of change - even if it were minor. But I didn't really see any other than his attempt to seduce/bribe Optimus into concurring with him about the lack of Decepticons on Earth. After the ending of "Return of the Headmaster" I was hoping that Sentinel would be less of a bully toward Optimus at least on a personal level during private conversations with him - even if he acted the same in front of others.

I was really glad to see Optimus beat the snot out of Sentinel though. smiletf.gif You go girl!
SIEGE
Starscream is growing on me. I've never been a SC fan till this episode.
darthzylek
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but Ironhide is identical to cybertron mode Ratchet with a different head. Another nod to G1. You can see the stripes that looks like the top of an X on Ironhide which are the same as Ratchet when he was in is Cybertron form. He also had what appears to be sirens on his shoulders, just like Ratchet. Even if this is his only shot on the show (Highly unlikely) I'm sure they will make a toy of him since is it just a head swap and repaint.
Stormtrooper53
So, ummm, yeah.

You guys are all total dorks for talking about this episode before it even aired in the US.

Now there's nothing to talk about. huffermad.gif
Lord Madhammer
We could talk about how the episode aired just after the five-year anniversary of the original "Mission Accomplished."

nah, we don't have to do that.
Lord Madhammer
Okay.
Dingocrikey
I usually don't care for Animated, but Mission Accompished was a great episode. Good to see Starscream back, but I was hoping to see him beat the crap out of Megatron. It was good to see Alot of the Autobots and Decepticons, and not much humans in the episode. I hope the Elite Guard Returns in the future.

and, SENTINAL PRIME ROCKS!!!!! rodimusgrinstatic.gif
