The "Transformers" co-star tops FHM's annual 100 Sexiest Women in the World poll of FHM readers. The 21-year-old model-actress beat out the likes of Angelina Jolie (No. 12), Rihanna (No. 14), Kim Kardashian (No. 17), Paris Hilton (No. 77) and last year's champion, Jessica Alba (No. 3).

Fox debuted on the annual list in 2006 at No. 68 and ranked at No. 65 in 2007. Joining her in the top 10 this year are — in descending order — Jessica Biel, Alba, Elisha Cuthbert, Scarlett Johansson, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Hilary Duff, Tricia Helfer, Blake Lively and Kate Beckinsale. Britney Spears came in last place at No. 100.

The women from MTV's "The Hills" duke it out on the list with Heidi Montag (No. 44) beating out Audrina Patridge (No. 80) and Lauren Conrad (No. 95). Current "Dancing with the Stars" contestant Shannon Elizabeth (No. 46) returned to the ranking after being absent last year, joining professional dancers Cheryl Burke (No. 40) and Karina Smirnoff (No. 78).

FHM said nearly 9 million votes were cast for the 14th edition of the annual poll.

Nice to see that Transformers helped put her over the top.

She needs an Autobot Tattoo also...or maybe she already does...

Well, while I wouldn't want to ruin this posting by throwing in a "Transformers"-related comment in, but I think a lot of credit to Michael Bay is deserved by spotlighting Megan Fox's best attributes in this past summer's blockbuster hit to help her nab the award of "Sexiest Woman In the World" by FHM. The online reader poll gave Ms. Fox the top honors along with Jessica Biel (The Illusionist), and Jessica Alba (Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer) helping to round out the top three women.

Having met Megan Fox at the Sydney Transformers premiere last year, I don't think she's that hot IRL. She's not bad looking, but I don't think she's hot. But I can't deny that she is very photogenic and that she looks absolutely fantastic on film. But the camera lies. But it's a nice lie.

She is a nice looking lady but this seems like an odd considering the movie came out last year. Seems a bit late to be giving her props. I would say FHM is pandering to the fanboys.

Meh. She's not even the sexiest actress, nevertheless sexiest woman in the world. Yeah, she looked pretty good in TF, but eh. I've seen better looking women at the mall. Once you get all the makeup and the lighting and everything off of them, most of those stars arent THAT great looking. I certainly wouldn't kick her out of bed though.
