I just started collecting these wonderfull toys and i realise that some are bigining to rust and are oxidized.

What do i do to keep them shiny and in a nice state?

How do i remove price tags for the box properly so as not to tear the boxart?

Double check if it's rusting or tarnishing. If it's rusting, I'm not sure what there is to do. If it's tarnishing, just take some polish to it to just clean the affected area per the polish instructions.

A couple of things. Play and transform them every so often, but not roughly. I find this helps keep any dust build up down to a minimum. Also try getting some sort of display case if you can afford it and put them in there.

Try softening it up with anything that's used to remove sticky residue from things, then peeling the sticker off...again, this is a guess, so use this advice with some judgement..

I keep all mine enclosed in glass cases. This helps to keep the dust down, and perserves them better.

Use bug spray. Nothing's more annoying than finding a dead bug blocking a joint.

Once they've rusted there's no going back. But yes, as suggested, check for tarnishing and just polish up as needed.

Playing with your toys will ensure them long life. It lets you keep an eye on thier condition and makes you clean them off.

Peel the sticker off carefully and slowly. If there's any remaining residue: take a q-tip, dip it in some rubbing alcohol and lightly go to town. dry off with a paper towell, clean with little (I mean LITTLE) water and dry again. Works for me everytime.

You can dunk affected rusting metal bits in bleach to take off the rust, I've done that with screws and small diecast bits.

For tarnish, just use a polish available at pretty much any store.

with stickers i always find an old (clean) soft cotton t-shirt is great if you just gently rub it (with a little bit of pressure) as it makes the residue cling to the t-shirt
