*Melts ( . Y . ) 's Head with death ray eyes*
I've been watching a lot of Asian cinema lately (which clearly the Wachowskis also do) and I get the impression that they are trying to make the kids version of a Miike film. (or like a Wong Kar-Wai film on speed)
(much like Kill Bill was essentially an American version of a Miike film - remember when Bride first lands in Tokyo - with her motorcycle and the neon?? Awesome!!)
Which pleases me to no end.
But the over saturated color scheme does not bother me one bit. American film could use more color.
I also have to question - whats wrong with color?
And from what i have read of initial reviews - most people have gone into this film hesitant and come out completely won over.
Batman And Robin was full of

for a billion reasons other than "neon". The Neon in and of itself was only a problem because it followed immediately on the heels of Bat-Burton.
I'm looking forward to this film a great deal.
