I'm feeling particularly geeky this evening.

Okay, we've all seen the lists of G1 characters people want in the sequels: Devastator, the Dinobots, Soundwave, Prowl, Mirage, blabbity blah.

Here's the thread to focus on what inspiration you'd like to see Bay and Co. draw on from outside the G1verse. This does not include characters from outside the G1 verse who are clearly meant to be or fill the same role as their G1 counterpart. In other words, don't say "Energon Starscream" or "RID Ultra Magnus" or "Titanium Rodimus". Characters who make use of G1 names without being completely dependent on the homage for their existence, like "Beast Wars Silverbolt," would be acceptable.

Some of my pics:

Beast Wars Rampage - he'd be a tank with a rotating gun of some kind, same personality, and would have his spark removed by some rogue Sector Seven agent that would use that to make him a weapon against both Bot and Con.

Animated Lockdown and Oilslick - a pair of badass bounty hunters come to collect some Autobot hides. The muscle car and chopper with skull attached would rule rendered in the Bayformer style...especially that skull on Oil Slick. And Bay would probably be cool with casting Lockdown's cartoon voice actor in the movie.

Beast Wars Rattrap - Same pessimistic personality, but in an old junker car body, ten times worse than Bumblebee's first Camaro mode. And he could care less.

So, who do you want to see?

Armada Tidal Wave - Bay likes the idea of a transforming aircraft carrier. I think the characterization of Armada Tidal Wave, the hulking, mindless brute suits.

BM Jetstorm- There HAS to be at least one humorbot, now that Frenzy seems to be gone.

And just to rile up the crowd- Botanica.

my choices would be the original maximals and pred along with the two fuzors as S7 bots for a while, they could all be vehicles and the maximals would do what the autobots did in the alley in the first movie in front of the Autobots, and the preds find starscream

I think the PS2 "Prelude to Energon" game really got me loving Tidalwave.

The movie toys Landmine actually in the sequel would be nice... how about a A-10 Warthog named Wing Saber!

Mispelling Scorponok as 'Scorpinok' (or 'Scorpinock' as the case may be) is understandable, because I can see how you've deduced the spelling from the English word Scorpion... but I don't know how you managed to mispell "Megatron" as "Megetron"... (o_O)

Think of it this way - it's the same "Mega" that is used in English - so just as we have Megalitre, Megawatt or Megabyte, it is Megatron.

And "tron" is apparently derived from "electronic." So yeah, "Megatron" kinda means "a million electronics." Yes, it's a very stupid name when you think about it - it certainly doesn't hold up to "Optimus Prime" being Latin for "the first and the best."

...there's worse but... "Galvatron" - Galvanised electronics?!? WTF?!

Gigatron is odd, but it logically follows from "Megatron" - "Magmatron" is weird though. Maybe he was forged from a volcano that erupted electrical goods - like an explosive torrent of HD-DVD players and plasma televisions.

Rod, Blaster, Kup, and Wheelie are really cool. Besides, everyone knows what G1 means. Well, anyone in

the TransFan universe anyway. But what I'd like to see, is some Femmes in the next slagging movie!!! I

mean, that first one was really dissapointing to me cause there wasn't a single heroine. And Megan Fox's

character was a sidekick not a heroine. And something else I've always wondered, if the Femmes were left

on Cybertron because they would be in danger if the came to Earth, Then was being left on a planet

controlled by none other than the Decepticons safer??? Yeah that makes perfect sense don't
