yeah, no more lame-arse villains please. And that's not to say that human-villains are a no-no, but
lame human-villains are definitely a no-no.
Examples of better formidable human foes for the Transformers include:
+ The Robot Master: as inherently lame as Donny Finkleberg himself actually is, the idea of the Decepticons using a human and news media to publicly broadcast propaganda to make the human populace fear all Transformers (and thus turning them against the Autobots) was a good one. Even basically good people like G.B. Blackrock, Spiderman and G.I. Joe (who killed Bumblebee!) were initially afraid of the Autobots (of course most humans weren't even aware of the difference between Autobots and Decepticons). The G1 cartoon did this briefly with Berger.
+ Government agencies/military: e.g.: I.I.I., R.A.A.T. and Sector-7. Of course, this isn't going to happen in Animated since the Autobots already forged an alliance with humans (who generally see the Autobots as heroes) - although the moment in Megatron Rising 2 where Prime saw humans cowering and fleeing from him after their battle with the Decepticons in the city was really cool.

Decent super-human villains. Am I the only one who wouldn't mind seeing an Animated Circuit Breaker? Not only is she strong enough to challenge Unicron (albeit at the cost of her sanity), she's also
hawt to boot!
