i know.

i was diagnosed as such becasue i sometimes hear things (not crazy dogs telling me to kill people, but things like people calling for me even when i know nobody's home), extreme pranoia. i was also diagnosed with severe depression, both of which marijuana was extraordinarily helpful in getting rid off, or at least helping me with my symptoms.

In other words, it makes crazy people crazy. :strawman

I suppose I shouldn't have assumed that everyone has a basic knowledge of psychology. Most mental illnesses are believed to be caused by a combination of genetic predisposition and environmental triggers. The concern is that marijuana may act as that environmental trigger, for people with the genetic predisposition.

optimuslaugh2.gif I think you've expressed that fact about every other post now.

Sometimes you have to repeat yourself when people don't get the point.

also it helps to tell all those people that may or may not be in the room at the time.

is that seriousness or sarcasm?

it's not surprising at all. cigarettes wouldn't cause cancer if the tobacco companies didn't add stuff to the tobacco.

*a-hem.*

Bullshit.

Tobacco in all forms can cause cancer. Cigs might not be as good at causing cancer without all the additives(I wouldn't know), but A. the additives you're referring to do nothing more than increase the addictiveness and B. Most additives in cigarettes are there to mellow the flavor, and don't really add to the cancer causingness.

Yeah, I've got to respectfully disagree, too. If this were true, then smokers of natural cigarettes and fine cigars, neither of which have any additives, wouldn't have anything to worry about. In reality, they also have an increased risk of oral and other cancers.

I was under the impression cigars had mellowing additives only.

It depends on the brand. Most of your finer cigars (hand rolled/made) are just straight dried tobacco leaf, everything from the filler to the wrapper. Some cigars have mellowing agents or flavoring/aroma additives. A lot of cheap cigars/cigarillos and "little cigars" (Swisher, Black and Mild, etc.) have some of the same crap as cigarettes.

*enjoys a good cigar every now and then*

I used to use a lot of Cigar wrappers. optimuslaugh2.gif

For wrapping tobacco, right? Or is it tobacky...

As in "Wacky"

I preferred to roll up this green tea that I used to buy from an organic farmer in my neighborhood.

Wow, zombieglompbymisteringobm7.gif

Not that I believe it is the sole cause of it, but can we go ahead and end this retarded "War on Drugs" now? Hell, it would be cheaper to treat drug users than it is to try and round them all up and incarcerate them.

thank you! the war on drugs is retarded and costs the tax payers WAY too much. not to mention the fact that legalizing the shot will cut down on violent crime (hell it'll practically kill most street gang's fundings).
