i agree. anime in general does that too much. TF:A needs to be different. however i have a feeling it wont focus on any allspark hunt. and that it'll stay with getting rid of the decepticons. in fact i bet the only involvement the allspark fragments will have is the machines they corrupt

the e-1337 guard is so awesome! i really wanna see them fight the decepticons!

As long as the writing is as crisp as it is now, it continues with the nods to it's past, and the characters stay refreshing I'm happy to have a "quest for the crystals" story. Hell the old school Final Fantasy fan in me demads it!

Actually, I think it's rather good plotting. Think about it: These robots are the only robots with a Spark the Autobots are aware of. Yes, they have fought Soundwave, but they destroyed him ( so they think), and as far as the Autobots are aware, Soundwave had no Spark. As long as the Dinobots aren't a threat to anyone, the Autobots are content to just let them be. However, as more Transformers appear, let's say, the Constructicons, and with Megatron amassing all these robots in his grand army, the Autobots won't be able to afford the luxury of having the Dinobots roaming free. The Dinobots must be accounted for, or else Megatron may take advantage of them. And having them appear in minor plots? That is merely to keep them involved in the main storyline, without them actually fighting. After all, as soon as these Bots start to fight, they'll be several steps beyond "bad-ass".

yeah, Jazz is the biggest "Man in Suit"(TM by Lord Madhammer) In TF history. I think he's worse than Bumblebee in that department. the cool thing is the toy looks just like that. That is amazing to me.
