Full Version: Question concerning Wreck-Gar update

Wreck-Gar would have to be the final character from G1 that I do not have a bot to update with. I was looking over the new Animated Prowl for a possible mold, resculpted head and repaint might help:

http://www.seibertron.com/toys/fullsize.ph...=1&image=48

But I am afraid that he will be too "animated" looking to fit in with the Classics.

Which leads me to my request...can anyone find me a Auto Vajin from Masked Rider series. I have scoured Ebay and google to no avail. I have seen some custom Junkions using this mold but cannot for the life of me find a supplier anywhere:

Any help would be great.

Some other molds to consider:

Can't wait to see your custom thumbsup1.gif

A few months ago, I was playing with the idea of turning the Grievous/Wheel o' doom SWTF into a Junkion. The figure certainly has the "junk" part down tounge1.gif

Yea, I looked at these guys too, but they would have to get some pretty heavy moding to improve their posibility, they are kind of clunky.

Lintlizard - that actually isn't a bad idea. Noone said it has to be a 2 wheeler...hmmm

I don't think there is any decent deluxe-sized bike mold for you to use. You'll need to cobble something together out of several different motorcycle bots. The great this is that in this case, the more slapped-together the alt mode looks, the BETTER!

Here's an obscure kit that seems to have a bunch of good parts for Junkions in general.

Oh Great! Another perfect model that is impossible to find!

These are a good suggestion though, thanks!

How about that Cybertron touring bike? He was almost the same colour as wreck-gar too, wasnt eh?

i'm not joining just so i can zoom in those pics, but those might be the big-ish transforming motorcycles i saw @ rite-aid a few months back. if you've not checked there, check it.

How big are you intending to make him? I thought that Lugnutz could be a good start if you're intending on making the vehicle mode somewhat in scale with the other Classics.

Could try to rework the saddlebag pop-up gun into some other feature/gimmick?

Actually he is my last resort. I kind of wanted to get him into at least a Deluxe size though, as Junkions do not "hide" on earth, they ride each other (no jokes please! smiletf.gif ). But Lugnutz will work if needed, he is not too hard to find either.

Rite-Aid??? No poo!!! I would have never thought to look there...but I will check today actually, there are a few 'round here. Thanks for the heads up!

Tom_Servo did this one a while back.

I think the mold is a pretty good fit for a non-motorcycle and its not too far out of the classics aesthetic. I've actually got plans to use longarm for protectobot groove.

As for motorcyle molds, I've seen these around. They're mostly pretty axer-like, but the've got the front tire hanging from their gut. wheeliebarf.gif The bike modes are really pretty though, and the bot might be bashable into something a little more presentable. Actually, now that I think of it, aren't Roadsbots supposed to start making motorcycles too?

WOW, thanks for sharing that, I missed that Servo bash...it makes me reconsider using my Longarm as my Kup bash. I still think I want to use a cycle as the whole point of the Junkions is that they transported each other.

I saw those bikes on ebay and BBTS as well...but as you said...wheelbelly? no thanks. Lugnutz looks good, but he is just so little...as I said, last resort.
