Behold, Galvatron!
Well, I got a 12 Disc Kenshin DVD set off ebay a few weeks ago and when it came in, it turned out five out of the 12 discs had problems with pixelation and freezing. I emaled the seller, asking for new ones. He said to send the defective ones in and he'd take care of it. Fast forward to last week and they come in, only they are STILL defective (and may have been the same ones huffermad.gif ) I emailed him Thurs asking for a refund

Hi

I got the dvds you sent in today, unfortunetly save for disc 6 they all still had problems. As such, I'd like to have a refund for this item. I will send all the discs back and I won't leave a negative feedback for it as its clearly the merchendise that was at fault and not yourself as you are very much a good seller smiletf.gif

I still haven't heard back and I'm kinda anixious to get this done as I'd like to have it refunded so I can get the DVD set through another seller (as hopefully thier batch of DVDs won't have similar probelms) before College starts next week

Should I wait longer for a reply or should (is there?) a way to force a refund?

hmm... are they burnt DVDs? I don't know of a way to force anything with ebay transactions... good luck.

They appear to be official products, cd box art and all

I don't think you can force a refund, just leave negative feedback to the guy. I think there are ways to get money back if you can prove the seller is fraudulent, but that doesn't sound like the case here.

Are you sure the DVDs themselves are to blame? My brother's DVD player freezes and pixellates on some DVDs that play fine in my player. You might want to test the DVDs in another player while you have them; could be you'd get the new set from another seller and be right back where you started.

I'd wait for a bit to see what he says; maybe send him a "Say, did I get lost in your Inbox?" sort of email to prod.

I don't think you can force a refund either. I find it odd that both the original and replacement would be defective, making me suspect a well-packaged bootleg, or at least the real package with burned copies put inside.

Are you certain that the dvds are licensed and as descibed as in the auction description? If not then consider asking for a refund. If that does not work, report the seller to ebay authorities and make certain that you include all emails and documents. Do not leave negative feedback until you absolutely are left with no alternatives; once you do it, you cannot undo it and remember, they can return the favor so be careful.
