Anyone here anticipating this one? As for the original Ben 10 series, I only watched season 1 & 2, totally missed season 3 & 4, also the two movies following it.

I LOVE it, alot less cheesy than the Japanese series like Avatar and all of those "treasure hunt" series..
I have so far missed out on the live action movie, but I have seen the cartoon one.

Avatar is most certainly not japanese. It has a lot of eastern influences, yes, but in that respect, so has Ben 10.

I didn't really care for Ben 10, but now that he's a teenager, I may pick it up.

The thing I (gonna) like from this sequel is that... since he'd lost all his previous forms, but Kevin-11 still keeping those previous forms absorbed from Ben, so I think I won't have to miss Heatblast, Fourarms, and the other original alien entities.

Oh LOL, Kevin's car resembles Bumblebee concept Camaro alt-mode.

I liked the "original". Watched it with my son a lot.
The live-action movie was f*cking dumb. I should say the story was dumb... The aliens were pretty decent.
The new series seems cool. The way the Omnitrix completely changed is a pretty shameless way to crank out more toys... granted another season of the "old" aliens might have gotten stale through another season... especially when they ended with the "Way Big" alien... WTF could beat that one? He pretty much chucked Vilgax into space.
The only thing with the new stuff is it throws the whole "Ben 10,000" thing out of whack. And Kevin 11 being human again just like that...
The new aliens seem cool enough... I'm interested to see what Alien X is.
The new "head villain" reminds me of one of the Angles from Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Either way... my son likes it... I like watching it with him... I'll keep with it.

What you meant and what you wrote down were two very distinctly different things.

I do think the transformation is kinda cheesy. I liked the one from the old series where they showed his skin bubbling up and what not. This new one with the rib cage is pretty lame.

i didn't really enjoy the first episode of ben 10 alien force. it was like the movies. it tried to take itself seriously

the dialogue between gwen, ben, and kevin seemed a bit forced and slow paced. i want tara strong back as the voice actor although it wouldnt fit his age. these voice actors seem to droll over their lines.

i prefer ben 10. a lot more fun to me, but ill have to watch a few more episodes before i abandon the series or not.

No... but in the episode Ben 10,000 couldn't he revert to human form? Or was that his son?
I wonder if his son in that episode was a result of him and Gwen getting together... he seems like he's got a thing for her.

It was revealed earlier that Kevin 11 would slowly regain his humanity with time. Apparently, this is that time.

So I guess Ben 10,000 is some alternate timeline?

4 episodes in, and, as a viewer with no prior knowledge of the show, I must say I enjoy Ben-10:AF quite a bit. It indeed has a certain x-files-esque quality to it, and it does feel like there is a greater conspiracy at work here (besides the obvious alien-infiltration theme going on)

I quite enjoyed the episode Max out. I just hope that at some point we will see Max again. He was cool.

I watch this show once in a while when its on. I uses to watch the old regular Ben 10 cartoon and this one messes up the whole story line. I only watch it when I'm super bored.

I actually liked it. Some episodes make it confusing but you completely understand it in the end. Gotta admit I'd rather watch this than pokemon. god damn worse piece of shot of all time. Same thing with bakugan battle-who gives a rat ass. Yugioh had some cool kick ass looking monsters but I never really could get into it. I grow up on transformers and GI joe along with some other classics plain and simple.

Your right with all of that! I've watched Bukagan before and it is just copying other kiddy anime cartoons. Also, Pokemon needs to end soon, its been on TV way too long.

LOL thanks! I hate pokemon with a passion. Nothing but a bunch of stupid beanie babies that are captured from their home in the wild and forced to battle eachother and kept inside tiny frigging balls. God that is horrible? and did you notice how every episode revolves around the same format.
