I found some great carded Generation 2 figures in a shop in Greece for £2 each. Slightly yellowed backing card, but perfect apart from that! Such a cool find to still get these figures in this good condition carded! I'll try to get some pics up later! Anyone else have similar stories of random dicoveries of old figs being sold unaware of possible value?

After searching for a cheap metallic blue G1 Seaspray and coming up with many MANY £10-15 examples, I gave up. The next week we were at the Anglesea CarBoot. A guy was selling 2 "toy cars" for 20p I got Seaspray (Mblue) and the Batman&Robin Mr Freeze vanthing too.. He even threw in the Batboat for free.. I got around the corner 30 ft away before cracking "AHAHAHAHA YESSSS!" God knows what will happen when I get a G1 Wheelie (My ultimate fave tf ever and number 1 on dream finds)...

I used to find loads of boxed/carded (sealed) BW bits at boot-sales near me all the time for next to nothing. Helped me bulk up my collection.

Its the old "ma and pa" shops/stalls that are the best places to find "hidden treasures", all over the world. Europe is a case in point, where perhaps TFs are not so well known. In Japan too, if I ever find some dusty old toyshop, Im almost certain that there are Japanese Leo Convoys, Big Convoys and even G1 MIB for bugger all.

This doesnt happen a lot but back in the UK, it was the same when I would walk into a pound shop and find G2 stuff for bugger all...

There is a father and son toy store near where I live. Unfortunately they are well versed in TF and know EXACTLY how much stuff is worth.
