Never saw this style before... anyone know who the artist is and if they're from a comic or just fan art?

No, I couldn't, but then I'm at uni atm...

The images are from my site: www.actionfigurecustoms.com and I commissioned John to do these for me. He is a very talented artist and I was very happy with the images as they added that feel of grit and rawness to my custom site. I would totally use him again and highly recommend him as an artist.
