Wow, I would kill for one of these. This is the absolute first time I have ever seen one of these available, and it's unused MIB. I want it so bad it's not even funny.
Holy Crap a VSX!!!

That's a lot of money for some cardboard and styrofoam.

Not that I would ever pay that much, but hot damn. I think this is one of those pieces that so many of us can only dream of potentially someday owning. Being a collector of G1 Megatrons, this is one of those gaping holes in my collection that sadly will probably always be a hole in my collection.

the seller is very greedy.
I made a offer that was way too much and he rejected.
Gold MP Prime is better and more rare for less money

$10,000.00?
What a prick. For $10,000.00 you could buy a bunch of reissues, paint 'em up, get someone to make the styrofoam inserts, have Mirage's Boxes make repros and sell them as "originals" and double your profit.
This guy just isn't seeing the bigger picture here. What a moron.

I think I'd rather get a real car for the same price, or 10,000 other Optimus Primes.
If I could get that set, you know I'd probably end up playing with it.

I could see somebody charging $1,000 for an MISB version of this, as sick as it sounds. However, $10,000? Way the fuck too high.

MISB, I guarantee would sell for far more than $1000, easily $5-7500. Honestly, if I had it, I would have thrown a $3-3500 at him. Have you ever seen another one? You have to take everything into consideration with this piece, rarity and demand are far lop-sided on this thing, and it is over 20 years old, they're not getting any easier to find. Most people who have one are all but convinced that they'll be buried with it.
In general MIB G1 Japanese stuff is extremely hard to come by in the first place, especially in unused condition. Just look at it, someone had no qualms about dropping $5800 on this one. Sadly $1000 is a joke. Just look at the Goodbye giftsets. My Goodbye Megatron only set me back $425, but that wasn't completely unused, a couple accessories here and there had been removed from the trees and the poster is missing, and I still feel very very satisfied with what I got for my money. I've seen them go for over $1000 in complete/unused condition.
