Taking the time to smooth the cut edges of the parts, you may look at about 8 hours, possibly more, depending on how often you have build gundam sets before. And I personally have the Wing Zero, which is very fragile. It looks beautiful, but compared to other Perfect Grades, it's not the best. And, not all have lights.

Personally, I'm not a great fan of Perfect Grade Gundam at all. Most of them are just too large and cumbersome. I would rather suggest the Master Grade 1/100 series, which is just as detailed and fun to build as the Perfect Grades, but smaller in scale.

As for the set you are looking at: http://www.dalong.net/review/etc/hgm1/hgm1_p.htm

I hate those, "It depends" answers, but in this case, it really does depend. Not counting glue cure time, it took me about 6 hours to build the 1/100 Heavyarms kit from Endless Waltz. About the same time to build a MG Zaku I.

The upcoming PG Zeta Gundam is going to be way more complex than, say, the PG Zaku (825 pieces vs. 548). The reviewer at HLJ says it took him about 12 hours to assemble his PG Zaku, and that was snap assembly (i.e. no gluing, painting, etc.) only.

The only Dendrobium kits I know of that are still readily available is a 1/550 scale kit and a HGUC (1/144 scale) kit.

The HGUC kit is 40 inches long from the tip of the beam cannon barrel to the tail.
