I just bought a PS3 and have been tould I have to update before I can go online with it. My question is how big is this update (I have the 40 gig). I bought this for a Blueray player mainly, and secondary for exclusive PS3 games (all five of them ). I already have a 360 elite for games, demo's, tv shows, ect. I would like to be able to go online with the PS3 expecially when Resestance 2 comes out, but if this update is a big as my first 360 one (16 gigs) I'm not worried about it. I know the 360 update included backwards compatiblity ( ) but still figured it was good to know how much memory I will lose over this. Thanks.

That's it, man I thought it had to be more than 2 gig's with the amount of time it was taking. Thanks for the help, I'll have to update it later.
