I think the only movie line deluxe prime is the protoform. The 2-pack with the fab calls the Battle begins prime (classics dlx) '86 movie prime. Actually, I've seen some places list Fabs as deluxes.

Indeed, protoform Prime is the only deluxe-sized movie Prime there is. It is actually very movie accurate. Surprisingly so.

That's nothing to feel bad about. he's an awesome fig, i never got the starscream but from what i've seen i got the better one.

Proto-SS sucks a bit but Proto-Prime is cool.

Had all the intention to grab both protoform deluxes, (saw em plenty last year) but had to radically alter my buying/collecting habits. I limited the movie line to basically on screen characters and a few of the better deluxe originals.

To date I've only been able to grab two TFs this year thus far.

There were rumors of a Deluxe Prime long ago, before many movie toys had been seen. This was from a Hasbro presentation where no pics were allowed, IIRC.

We've never seen one. I have to imagine that the starter of the rumor was A) High B) evil or C) looking at "FAB" Prime that he mistook for a mainline figure.

Fast Action Battler Prime, BTW, should be right about deluxe size.

There was a "deluxe Optimus" with part number (as well as a Starscream) listed in the master-list of Hasbro's movie toys:

I'm pretty sure these were confirmed to be the protoforms.

Protoform Prime got "released" twice with 2 different part numbers. Mystery solved.
