You beat me to it, you bastard!

Ok, the animation was bi-polar in this one. The last one had good animation throughout, but the first 10 minutes of this episode was so frigging bad it shocked me.

Also, I believe the G1 trailer has surpassed the G1 footage in the first episode/movie as the most fanwanky moment in the show. optimuslaugh2.gif

Ah man! Now I'm mad I didn't watch the whole episode. (had to get back to work) I'll see it on Youtube before 2pm though Wooot!

Is it just me, or did this episode raise some frightening ethical issues? I mean, did they not just create a life for the express purpose of sending it to its death without its consent? It reminds me of the episode of Star Trek Enterprise where they clone Tucker in order to harvest organs to save the real Tucker, but then the clone doesn't want to go through with it. Except they just glossed over it in this one since apparently the Spark in the newly created bot wasn't sophisticated enough to figure that out.

But I realize it's a childrens' show and they wouldn't get too deep into that sort of thing. Sorry to be "that" guy, but that whole ending resonated wierd with me.
DarkNarcoleptic
Well, it was no more a drone than any of Sumdac's bots. But I did think about it for a second.
Lord Madhammer
They ended up using it as art. That doesn't sound unethical to me at all.

BTW I have to say, the whole "robot head that is also a little robot and has a dude inside it" was a lot better done in this show... I was always like OMG HOW DO THEY BEND LIKE THAT back in Geewun days.

P.S. "newbs"? I thought it was "new-bees". GUESS I'M JUST A NOOOOOOOOOOOb
Blitz-Wing
Personally? Worst episode in the series. It didn't grip me like any of the others have.

Interesting to see how Sumdac has such a serious and resistive approach for militaristic uses. It's the first time I've ever taken him seriously. And yes, G1 trailer was pure GeeWun win.

I think what annoyed me worst was Headmaster's constant use of leet-speak. Internet junkee thumbsdown.gif
Lord Madhammer
"Worst episode in the series" for me is still "Meltdown." musicalnote.gif HATED IT musicalnote.gif

"Headmaster" wasn't one of the best ones, but then I tend to define "best" by how much the show yanks my G1 wanky.

Not just you. "THAT REEKS!"

That's like all kinds of wrong. Oh and they built a whole robot in a few mins? biggrintf.gif
Darth Caine
The repetitive "TOTAL OWNAGE, NOOB" is kinda boring. Anyway, it's a good episode. biggrintf.gif
Father Time
Bad episode. Prime's G1 trailer is one of the few highlights in what is otherwise a below average episode.

However, with so many "below average" episodes, it's rapidly nearing that "average" line.

And, I did not realize it at first, but with Sari jumpstarting the robot with her key, she did make it come alive, with a Spark and all. And now, it's dead. Not good at all, but, IMO, a symptom of bad plotting.

optimuslaugh2.gif I find it humorous the leet-speakers are taking offense to the excessive of it by the show. LOLZ

It was bound to happen that "pwnage" would go the way of "groovy" or "far out".

Ten bucks says we hear "lulz" used in a Dreamworks animated film in the next year and a half.

You're over analyzing things. Just remember that this is a kids' cartoon so the writers are more willing to discard consistancy in favor of telling a story. Now normally, a lack of consistancy would effect the quality of the story but this is a cartoon aimed at kids and kids tend to have little or no discernment, nor do they tend to think about deeper issues, like whether or not the Transformers are actual lifeforms.

was meh ... but anything with head and master in the title reminds me of that crappy G1 concept.. I loled at the old school prime trailer though. Man he looks silly hauling that thing around.. optimuslaugh2.gif

Not one of their best.. but definetly not one of their worst.. I was hoping more for a follow up on Lungnut/Blitzwing/Starscream personally..

That was the biggest laugh in the whole ep. That white jumpsuit really does look stupid.

Bet the G1 trailer gave some of you some serious fan wood. It was funny seeing it not vanish for the first time ever when Prime transformed.

Fun ep. Sumdac got some good characterization for a change.

Elite speak was funny in the beginning but after that got tiresome.
DarkNarcoleptic
Daniel is a puss anyway.

Oh yeah. That was what, appearance #3? They can throw him in a lockable closet and melt the key now.

Didn't care for this one. Though I did like the trailer, I tend to be more interested in episodes that feature Decepticon opponents. I'm not so fond of doing the "villain of the week" thing with this show, unless the villains are 'Cons.
Agent Zero
The only problem I had with this episode was the fact that they continued pushing the "Bulkhead is clumsy" theme. We get it. Frankly I prefer Bumblebee as Sari's sidekick/kid appeal character.

I have to say though, the episode was pretty cool overall. Sumdac suddenly became interesting, and it was nice to see that Fanzone didn't regress as a character.
I also found the internet-speak of the Head Master to be hilarious. Like Pete, I'm also glad they didn't go the "transforming man" route for the HM. That always looked painful.

The G1 trailer on Prime was pure win. I now know, however, that'll we'll get the "OMG HASBRO WON'T GIVE ANIM8ED PRIME HIZ G1 TRAILER!!!!! THEY HATE THE FANZZZZZ!!!!11!1!!!1111oneoneeleven" posts.

The best was when Daniel transformed his exo-suit into Arcee's head, and then he was still wearing the exo-suit inside her head. optimuslaugh2.gif

LOL! Never noticed that before. Honestly though, Daniel as Arcee's head seemed kind of creepy.

I think that's cause it was so spot on. XD It did start to get repetitive toward the end though. But I've dealt with my fair share of obnoxious punks to know that’s exactly how they talk. lol bumblebeetounge.gif

I think it was a fair episode. But definitely not one of the best. The whole concept of the Head master as a villain that high-jacks Transformer bodies is kind of a neat idea. Though did Head master's design remind anyone else of Galactus? http://www.marveldirectory.com/pictures/in...1d/galactus.gif

The whole creation of the robot drone at the end did bother me too, even though I got that it was just a drone; it bothered me more because I knew it'd spark "No pun intended." a nerdy debate allover the net. redface2tf.gif

But that is part of the charm of it, it ANNOYS THE HELL out of those who have pretentious attitudes. See the crazy old lady walking up the street moaning about the death of English language due to words like cool and hip. Thats what people sound like when moaning about RhymeSpeak and 1337. The fact that another life form seemingly chooses to speak like that shows tha the life form has "soul" it shows they have the capacity for emotional attachment. Why do you think that despite him being a cross between a British Knight and a Witch in shades people fell in love with Jazz in the Movie seconds after his first line? Hell we see it now "Whats with all the stupid hip-hop speak, Keepin it real?" next "whats with all the 1337 5p34k". People latch onto a lingo and dont like to adapt to new terms and new ideas, cause you noe 't takes effort'n'stuff, too much so for ye olde fuddy duddys caught in their souless gaol of a brain..
Satan's Camaro
Not the best episode, but definitely not the worst. Hopefully after this we can lay Bulkhead's clumsiness to rest. The point has been made.

Of course, after last week's episode I was hoping that Fanzone's "I HATE MACHINES ARRGH" angst would be set aside - I see that didn't turn out to be the case.

Good characterization for Sumdac though, and the episode did keep me entertained.

I will say that even the "worst" of this series is still a zillion times better than anything from A/E/C

Starscream the great
Was'nt kinda meh not as much as a letdown from last week but probably won't sit through it again

Still lugnut and blitzwings episode was the best imo

though that could change in 2 weeks with megatron rising
Bestimus Mucho
This episode was ROFLS. Yah have an annoying 1337 speaking villan making one of the stupidest gimicks ever incredibly disturbing, you have character development for Bulkhead and Sumdac, plus G1 flavor pouring out everywhere. Was it the best? no, but I'd watch it again and giggle.

big downer was him saying OWNAGE instead of PWNAGE

Also I thought the Head looked like a pink version of Scorponok/BlackZarak's head

I'm going to have to disagree there. Bulkhead's character didn't develop, we just got more of the same "he's big, strong, and clumsy with a big heart" stuff we've been getting for the last few weeks. Nothing new here.

ah, but now he's an artist!
Father Time
There is a difference between character development and character evolution. Character evolution means the growth of a character, learning more, becoming a better person and such. Characer development is the establishing of a character, showing who he is, what his personality and character is like.
Socaddict
I kinda enjoyed it, was better than meltdown. a few things were a little overplayed, but once again, this is a kids program. compare it to something like thundercats or he-man or something. Much better done them...

It was a nice episode but i think as some one else posted with the return of megatron comming up maybe this was the calm before the storm

There's going to be plenty of time for the sh*t to hit the fan.

And I have a feeling that we'll be seeing more of "Headmaster"...

which makes my pants tight, depending on what they do with it

P.S. I have a strong suspicion that the 1337-speaking character is meant to be satirizing US optimuslaugh2.gif
