what are your opinions on this TF?

IMO, he's a good figure, although his transfrmation is simplistic, i think it fits with his character(he jst wantsto eat down people, so h ha tobe able to transform fast, or something.

Stockade is an excellent figure IMHO. He's got cool ape-like proportions, good articulation (only missing wrist articulation but with bonus waist rotation and FINGER articulation), one of the best heads on a MovieDeluxe to fit in with other lines AND movie line, a transform that's complex enough to get rid of most (but not all) of the kibble, a solid and realistic vehicle mode, and a gimmick (the punch thing) that works perfectly, fits the character, and doesn't get in the way of anything. He's not perfect (the elbows have two-point articulation but STILL can't bend more than 90 degrees, and the detailing on the back of the knees limits knee articulation), but he's DEFINITELY worth the cost of a Deluxe.

Now I wanna see someone repaint him as Apeface... biggrintf.gif

I saw a repaint of him as Primal somewhere..some review site, i think ^.^

I heart Stockade, bought 2 in fact. Love the alt mode- the rear hatch opens, ya know, revealing an unusual cargo of... robot parts?

I fixed that, see my Kitbash thread about Stockade, w/ before and after pics.

FWIW, the wishbone connector for his elbow can be modded or even replaced with the same shape, but with a swivel in the middle to allow for elbow rotation- kung fu battle grip! I'm working on it.

I like it for all the reasons already mentioned.

I just have to eventually find one. redface2tf.gif

It's a pretty solid figure. The light blue looks good on it IMHO.

I wonder how he'd look as a primal...
Venom_Macbeth
he's a great fig. He's actually got me wanting some more of the movie deluxes (allspackle)

He makes a good opposition for my Landmine! ^-^
Hunter Rose
except in real life Landmine would be half his size...

I just got him, I love him, just wish he had wrist twisting so he could do some neat grabby poses. The fingers and waits are clinch though, I give it two thumbs up.

I love this figure, although mine has loose feet and falls forward a bit too easily. Its a shame how much nicer all the off-screen characters are than the actual cast toys.

Finally found one myself. Spun his head around, but instead of finding a screw, it turns out he looks a lot like a cylon. It'd be a nice bonus like the back of ironhide's head if he didn't already have a visor.
Even though its pretty easy to figure out, the instructions aren't too clear on how to properly transform his arms.

I think stockade's head looks a lot like Cerebros' head in the G1 cartoon. Atleast to me anyway

I love my Stockade. He's wonderful. Just wish some of my other Decepticons from the movie could measure up to his coolness factor. The only one that comes close is Leader Class Brawl.

The only thing I don't care for is the poor lightpiping I have on mine. I wish figures would just come with painted eyes. It'd be so much easier. Poor movie Ironhide suffered from really bad lightpiping. Painted his eyes myself with silver detailing.

Still waiting to see one. redface2tf.gif

Eventually I guess. Seen Walmart now restock the first wave of ASB a record three times.
