Ok so im prolly going to go to target tommrow and was wondering if landmind or starscream is worth geting? I was at target a few weeks ago and they had both and i didnt buy nethier for some forsaken reason i do not now. Now i heard starscream was good but not the best. Yes i know the Alt form is fat and the robot mode has no fingers but i still heard people saying it was a good figure. As for landmind i heard it was great and the alt mode was wonderfull and ect ect. So can somone give me a little review of the both? I can only get one and thats if they have anyone of them. Oh And Also If they have both which one should i get. Thank You :tflaughOh Sorry and i meant AllSpark LandMine. Sorry.

I like landmine. One of the best Deluxe Figures, really. And if you're only going to get "new" molds from the Allspark Line (since there are only like, three anyway) he's definitely worth it just for that.
Personally, I didn't really care for Starscream at all. I actually like his Alt mode, but I think he's ugly, with little posability in 'bot mode.

While I think Landmine's the better toy of the two, I think Starscream's got crazy amounts of pose potential in bot mode and is a way above average figure overall, even with the disproportionate jet mode and lack of hands.
If you don't have an aversion to the movie designs, you'll be happy with either one, really.

I dont have Landmine, but Starscream is a nicely detailed figure with DECENT posability he has very cool details on him too. Some you only see INSIDE the back.. I like transformers with details in places you wouldn't expect. He is nice to transform and fun to play with, also if you like sequential Gatling missiles you will love twin launchers. His face looks like he is grinning well slyly.

If you can swing both, go for it, they're 2 solid figs. Landmine is Dlx gold, one of the top 3 Dlxs for sure. Excellent alt mode, and a VG bot mode too, w/ a great transformation- seats become hands, a TF first? Excellent alt mode detail, too- they even got the US flag on his right side painted on correctly. A couple little irritations, like the rear bumper halves and head that fall off easily, but lots of nice robot details too. Great fig.
SS' bot mode takes getting used to- if you just don't like the movie SS you won't like the toy either. He's big and bad, tho, and truly looks the part. The alt mode is a little weak, w/ the massive bulk and all, but still nice if you don't mind the kibble and hyper-sensitive missile launchers. I cut off the ends of all the triggers so they can't accidentally go off- believe me, even if you're trying to be careful, you'll prob. shoot yourself w/ at least one.
Two great figs, def. worth having IMHO- I was never going to buy SS butI liked him so much I got his G1 re-paint and Thundercraker, too. Enjoy.

I only have Landmine, and must say he's an excellent fig. One of only two Deluxe class figures that I know of with articulated fingers (the other being his series mate, Blockade), the fact that his gun can mount on his shoulder while he holds someone else's gun brings me back to the old G1 shoulder cannons many of the Autobot Cars (and Soundwave) had.

Landmine- I haven't got him yet, but from what I heard. He's one of the best deluxe molds out there.
SS on the other hand- just wait for the animated version. But if you want to get movie version, go nuts.

Good choice.

I got Landmine, and I'm really happy with him. He's just got a lot to him, both in articulation and in style. And his little rooftop turret gun looks great on him in both modes. (You can fit it over his shoulder in botmode) If I'd read this sooner, I would have put a vote towards him too--but it looks like it wasn't needed.

yup, landmine is freaking awesome!!
my only gripe with him is the head is easily removable and can pop off easily, and the same goes for the rear bumper, however that can be fixed. XD

Yup the figure is freaken great...love the car mode...i think its the only movie based or w.e transformers toy that had car parts in the alt mode...Only thing i dont like is that the pipe lights suck for this figure because its allspark..but oh well....man i wish it have us a mini allspark like they did in Japen..no fair lol..oh And does anyone know when the date is for the premuim seris to come out? (barricade, jazz and BB)

Great choice. Landmine is the last movie fig I've bought and that was about a month ago along with first release voyager Prime., Love Landmine, yes the head/bumpers fall off easily, and the piping has been painted with that obnoxious AS blue, but aside from that LM's a solid fig and the good far outwieghs the bad.
Wish I could say the same for Voyage Prime, bot mode is awsome but other than that I really didn't care for the clunky design of it. If it came between either Prime or Starscream, I'd have to honestly say Starscream is easily the more solid figure of the two. Both modes work well, and the transformation isn't as clunky or poorly excecuted.
Landmine ftw though. Can't wait until Stockade/Incinerator finally surface.

I really love Landmine. I don't have a Starscream yet, but I think I'll wait to see more of the "Deep Space" variant pictures.
