I got CC Bumblebee about a month after it came out (I got lucky), and just earlier today got Deluxe Cliffjumper at WalMart (along with the awesome Landmine). So, I decided to compare them a little.
First of all, Cliffjumper's waist joint (the most annoying part of CC Bumbles) is much tighter than the original - he doesn't flop around as much. Unfortunately, ALL of his joints are tighter, which made me quite nervous when I lowered the hood while transforming him.
Second, the color scheme. I've always preferred red and black to yellow and black. The yellow and grey "Movie Scenes" version looks a little better, and maybe the yellow and silver Premium will look okay, but the red and black (with silver hood stripes) just looks awesome to me.
Third... yet again, I wish Cliffjumper had a remolded head, even if it was just the battle helmet from Stealth Bumbles.
When it comes to paint apps, well, Cliffjumper just doesn't have as many as CC BB. The front of the outer hips is completely bare plastic, the forearms have half the paint (though in a good place), and the head... well, it just doesn't look good with a few tiny paint apps and eyes too dark for light piping to work unless you hold it directly in front of a naked 60 watt bulb. However, what apps there are are extremely neat, and the red paint on the transparent pieces perfectly matches the red plastic bodypanels. The much feared "Allspark Teal" is really only visible on the forearms and a little at the waist, both places surrounded by dark grey ir silver and thus could almost pass as simply another shade of metal (like original Voyager ironhide's knees).
All in all, I much preferr Cliffjumper over standard, first run Bumbles. I'd have to have Stealth and Premium Bumblebees in my hands to judge any further, but something tels me that I won't like S BB's paint scheme - though I'll get it anyway, at least for the helmet head.
