Someone wanted some proof I had what I claimed to have... So here's my GRB and some other things thrown in for fun...My custom, my custom GRB, and something that came in the mail today...Still one of the coolest cities to own. Have more pieces but they are in storage. Mine is not complete, the belts broke long ago, and I am missing a foot car, the little jet and the missiles. One of the stickers for his radar was lost so I made one, who knows maybe I'll make a new one with photo paper/printer.

Ok so here's also my unfinished custom GRB, obviously from a Unicron body, I have some upgrades I ranted about a couple years ago...maybe I'll finish it now, or once I get my work shop going.

Trick is that it has multiple combiner locks, the feet have pegs hidden that can lock on to the combiner tanks or jets, which is rather interesting in base or ship mode. The knee caps also have old school G1 combiner slots, nice touch right? I had planned on some other goodies but had not figured out where to go. I wanted matching tank like vehicle TF's that could mount to his arms so in rolling base mode the arms could help with the treads.

Transform can go in different ways, the legs together for base mode, but they can also do a split so one leg out in front and one out the back, kinda star ship mode. There's a couple more treads that can fit on each side of the single leg to be more like the original. Here I was in a rush to take some shots and so that's all you get.

I made it so the head guns can swivvle, so they function in robot mode, and head into gun turrent mode. That still needs to have the sculpting finished and then some.

Chest opens like Unicron, but I completely re-did a chest from scratch. The trick will be to sand down the edges, paint chrome and hope to keep the windows clear. I want to do something different with the abs window, but have not figured on that yet.

Inside his chest, unfinished, I gutted it, in the hopes to get some kind of seat that a minicon might fit in somehow. I also had the idea for blinking lights of some sort, and only recently came up with a way to do that. It's tricky, might even use a mirror to mimmic the insides of the real GRB.

Oh and I just had to throw some of my drivers I have in there for a group shot, just for fun and maybe to show off a little.

Check out what just shoed...I mean showed up in the mail today also...

I stand down doh.gif

BTW, that's a Powergliding brilliant use of Unicron. Aside from the colors its definitely going on. Have you looked at Omega Sentinal? I always thought that a bit of a nodd to GRB.

Been collecting for a LONG time...got most of those little buggers from these cool Diaclone car and track sets. comes with 1 measly little square section of track and power station, with a driver and a little car with metal wheels. I have a bunch of them (obviously).

Those are actually not easy to come by. The normal TF related toys came with the headphone wearers and the robo suits. Just a few, like the powerdashers came with these.

Some day timmy...I will get a bigger place, and build a proper display center...and in this center I can display all those wonderful toys...but for now they are stuck in boxes in a storage locker I'm paying far too much money for...

Thanks for GRB custom comments. Wait till I get the new ideas I had straight... I got a couple good ideas...just gota dig in my parts box, find time and well...get creative...
