Unfortunately I've had to sell off a huge chunk of my collection due to financial issues, but here's what it used to look like:




When I was in college, my friends would come over and relive our childhood by transforming them!

I've kept my favorites, including Optimus, PowerMasters Optimus MIB, Galvatron, Soundwave, all my jets, and a couple of other odd ones here and there.

Hello and welcome aboard! Nice collection. Bummer about having to sell of some of it. Priorities suck. I hope I'm never in that situation, as most of my small collection isn't worth squat.

It's too bad that you had to sell them. Whenever my friends from college come over to hang out they also get a kick of seeing the old toys playing with them.

Hopefully once you get your career underway you can re-grab some of your favorites.

I still got my PM Primes box, but it ain't so minty. I've come pretty close to cashing in my collection recently. Remember, once things clear up ebay and its powers of wallet destruction will be waiting to mug you with nostalgia.

No reissues? I go for them, but only due to costs!

I will certainly get a pic of everyone I still have when I'm able to pull them out of my closet. I'm still organizing; moved out of my parents' house a couple of months ago!

good call keeping the dinobots. like u, i had to sell most of my G1 stuff when I moved. The only one I regret selling now was my Fortress Maximus COMPLETE with box.

I love all the G1 goodness in there. I can feel your pain, I had to sell a decent chunk of my collection (MIMB Japanese Operation Combination complete unused along with a lot more...almost every Beast Wars figure, and just like with Teletran2, my FortMax had to go) once. As much as I want to, I haven't even tried to replace them, because it just brings back bad memories.

Hi MysticFyre. I am new here myself. I totally know what you mean about selling off your collection for financial reasons. I too had to do the same thing back in early 2000. I had well over 40 figures from G1 and BW line. They were either loose or MIB/MISB. I got them for cheap too compared to today's prices. Now I am kicking myself for getting rid of them and having to start over. Another line I had that I got for cheap and had to sell were the entire 1984 GI Joe line that were C9+ MOSC. I had them all, including the elusive C9+ MOC Storm Shadow that I paid 90 bucks for back in 1997. Gah...now I am finding my Storm Shaodw MOC is going for nearly 1000 dollars

Anyways, I hope your collection goes back to the way it was in those pictures. As soon as I find a job, I am so hitting up ebay when I get my first paycheck . I can hardly wait to get my G1 collection back to the way it was in 1998.

Kinda sad having to liquidate a lot of em.

Still keeping the Dinobots and Seekers was a good choice.

If I were to ever bother collecting vintage G1 Dinobots/seekers would be at the top of my list but everything else with the exception of Prime/Magnus/MP Prime/Rodimus and a couple of others is pretty much meh to me.
