Quirky but fun. It’s nice to have some proper characterisation after the character vacuums that were Energon, Cybertron and the movie. The five Autobots reminded me of the original 5 Maximals, which is no bad thing since I love Beast Wars. Having Prime as a relatively weak bot is a great idea, should give him scope to develop, he will have to use more than his strength to beat the Cons. Prowl caught my eye as one to watch too – although Screamer totally owned the episode.

Pity we didn’t get to see more of the other three Cons, from about the 10 seconds we saw of him I know Blitzwing is going to be my favourite character – a ‘camp’ commandant, angry Arnie and insane Jack ‘o’ Lantern rolled into one, brilliant.
