I'm honestly having trouble getting psyched for it, even though I loved the first episode. I think the potential lack of Decepticons in the episode is the cause. I just got a taste of the Decepticons in the first episode... but it wasn't enough.

... damn, that came out a lot gayer than I expected.

1) Animation was pretty much perfect, the fights were pretty much dizzying. The transformations were pretty much 100% as the toys they just added the TAZ-DEVIL lines. OH MY GOD THE CHARACHTORS STAYED IN SCALE WITH THE HUMANS WITH NO SUDDEN WHY IS THE 6 FOOT MAN UP TO THE WAIST OF THE 20 FOOT BOT MOMENTS!!

2) FFS please LEAVE ANIME STYLISATION TO THE JAPANESE GIVE US WESTERN STYLES.

3) Charachotrisation fantastic Prime seems guilt ridden by something from his past, Prowl seems to have had a tradgedy that has caused him to practically wipe all soul from himself with the occasional leek, STARSCREAM DID THEY USE VOODOO TO BRING LATTA AND G1/CYB BACK? Bumblebee was so bloody sarcastic PLEASE KEEP HIM UNNECESSARILY SARCASTIC, Bulkhead seems like the genious who iss scared to think too much because of his clumsy nature, Sari HOLY BATSH][T A TF KID WHO IS A BLOODY ADDITION NOT A DETRACTION *FAINTS* *WAKES UP*, BURGERBOT SICK AND TIRED OF LIFE FTW!! Blackarachnia SEXX SEXX SEXX, BITZWING MULTIPLE PERSONALITY DISORDER MUCH?

And for a guy like me who live on Asia, I'll have to wait for some generous dudes upload it on YouTube, or just wait till the full season DVD released few months later, because Cartoon Network Asia cannot be trusted. It keeps airing old crappy shows like Dexter, Courage, etc....

Sitting here watching the new ep of animated. The first part of the episode really reminded me of Teen Titans. The evil green arrow was a little over the top but They did show OP transform a little more.

I do think though that they are making Sari's key too powerful but what can I do about it.

OK I think I get it now. 1 full transformation per episode than the rest are stylized.

Man - this animation is fantastic! The fluidity and energy behind it is so well done. Also, the opening Optimus action was so well done, the motion, movement, and flow of the animation was particularly well done. I love the energy of this new TF show.

Home Is Where the Spark Is was very cool.
Megatron RULES! Green Arrow reference FTW! Prowl is f'ing awesome! This was a really great episode to get inside who Prowl is. He's still totally Batman and I really like how his character is being developed, hope it continues. Ratchet's forcefield was nice and I really like how when he was hurt, he was really damaged, you could see his internal circuitry and scarred/dented.

It reminds me of early BW episodes... setting up characters and what not

plus I love the Megatron stuff, perhaps I am the only one who was forcefully reminded of Beast Machines...

No. It's like the big combo of cool TF stuff.

I really dug today's episode. Animation was superb, writing was better than any other 2D Transformers show. Not much else to say, really. I loves me some Animated.

The only downside is that the toyline is going to look really boring next to the cartoon. In the cartoon, you have all kinds of interesting plots and unique characters. But Hasbro is probably not going to treat the toyline as anything more complex than "Heroic Autobots vs. Evil Decepticons". At the very least, I hope Hasbro makes some Screen Battle sets for this series so we can get mini-figures of the most important human characters.

Today's episode was simply amazing. The action was so fluid and fun to watch. Corey Burton's Megatron is fantastic- I found myself turning the volume up every time he spoke. Very menacing. Megatron definitely feels superior toward all other beings.

The Angry Archer made me laugh out loud- he's completely a reference to Aaron Archer. Great stuff. This series has so many moments for the fans, it's scary. We're not used to this kind of treatment.

All I could think of whenever Prowl spoke was "Dexter's dad."

Still don't prefer the animation but the story and everything else was great. I did read somewhere though that they already have a Sari toy made. Maybe I can find pics somewhere.

Yeah, when those synopses came out and I read it, I thought "ooh...total Beast Machines."

Caught the special and Ep 4.....(HSX3 doesn't have cable kids) I love the interents. It' sucks that I can't REALLY watch it thanks to crappy uploads and bit rates but it's nice to be able to experience the characterization and story development first hand from mine own living room and for that I thank whatever soul put this up on the tube.

I'm not going to say it was mind blowing. BW still holds the top spot but this show IS incrediably good which is nice to have again. Thanks Hasbro for making a good decision!

And STFU to that one guy who popped his head in here just to give everybody crap for liking it. If you don't care for the show why'd you even bother to make a post? Go make some oatmeal.

I liked it, I had a huge fanboy moment when Megs screamed "STARSCREAM!"
Character development is looking good. I liked the Archer when I thought I would hate him.

The only thing I didn't like was the Animation style, but I doubt I'll ever fully accept it. Still, the rest of the show more then makes up for it.

I just hope they don't go organic on Megatron. One "techno-organic" TFer is plenty.

At first, I'm kinda died from the inside when hearing "Angry Archer" on various websites. But now, I'm watching it on YouTube, and yeah, he's quite entertaining. LOL

Yeah, he didnt bother me at all...mostly because he got his ass kicked for the entire time he was on screen.

Btw, I kinda worried this series gonna end up like Beast Machines. I started to HATE Autobots/Maximals since the end of Beast Machines, when they turn whole cybertron into technorganic junkpile. And for that, I kinda annoyed by repeated references made by Prowl about "organic beings".

i liked the new episode, a well written tf series after the dubbed ones is a breath of fresh air. i especially liked Prowl in that ep, he didn't get enough time in the pilot

You know, this whole business with Sari's key seems to be an adaptation of an early Marvel Comics storyline in which Buster Witwicky was given the Matrix, allowing him to control machines.

The main difference being that it's Megatron, not Optimus who's a disembodied head this time around.

I liked Prowl referring to life that could not be contained and how people are oblivious to it, in reference to the tree he kept growing in his room/quarters... of course everything he said also applies perfectly to what Megatron was doing in that episode.

I like good writing.

man, i had high hopes for this series after the pilot, i thought i'd actually be able to watch it. this latest ep just... well let me down. i couldn't even make it through the first 10 minutes before it felt like another crap action 'toon.

i liked it for the most part, especially the focus on prowl's spirituallity
