I really like his robot mode. It gives me kind of a "G1" vibe.
I'll have to pick this guy up.

Sorry if I was unclear. What I meant to say was while it definitely fits into the Movie line, it reminds me of Generation I as well. The shape of the legs remind me G1, as do the lights on the knees (they remind me of G1 style stickers for some reason).

Weird. As I was looking through the pictures, I was thinking "huh, he kinda reminds me of that one picture of a movie Soundwave. Maybe someone could kitbash one."
Then I saw your sig.

Just picked Landmine up today. The head ball joint on mine pops off quite a bit, as does one of the rear bumper pieces from his knee, although the other one is fine. Despite these two QC issues, I recommend this guy. He's a solid toy with a lot of play value, well designed, and very accurate to the vehicle in the film, making him great fodder for your Mission City diorama.
You know, if dioramas are how you roll.

Can't help you w/ the head issue, but as for the bumper parts in robot mode, make sure you're tf'ing the legs correctly. The upper part of his alt mode rear end, where the gray exhaust pipes are, are meant to "slide" down his leg in bot mode (not actually slide, but they sort of flod upward and move down the length of his leg, hard to explain). This will move those rear bumper pieces away from his knees. FWIW, HTH.
Landmine is all that is movie toy awesome. Possibly my fave movie toy, period.

It only
barely works on mine, seems like they painted Allspark Blue over the back of his head, where it would have otherwise been clear to let the light in. I held mine up to a window, where it's sunny, and you can see 4 little points of light in his 4 eyes. Too bad. (A minor weakness in a great fig.) HTH

After having this guy out of the package 5 minutes I discovered the easiest Mod EVER, If you take a (exacto) Knife to the space in-between his fingers (along the pin) you instantly get four individual fingers and he looks Awesome because of it.

Just bought one.
Alt mode is absolute win. Bot mode has great articulation (ZOMG rotating waist) and the fingers are a nice touch. First transformation though I had the arm, both bumper pieces and head come off. Gotta be more careful I guess. Also really like the weapon mold, greate detail.
