I had the BIG cybertron starscream on ebay... i estimated the box for shipping to be 12 x 12 x 18.... and i padded the shipping by $2 to cover bubble wrap.
Ebay, in its infinite wisdom, decided that they know better than I do what i'm shipping and said that the shipping (which whoever complained about the shipping said shipping was $30 to some 9xxxx zip code from 37138) was excessive.
I emailed them back and said the package was going to be 12 x 12 x 18 and the usps calculator on ebay was responsible for calculating the shipping cost...
they basically emailed me back saying that I had the wrong size... and that I should comply with policies...
granted, the box might have been 3 or 4 inches bigger than needed on 1 or 2 sides, but this thing is huge...
at least i got my ebay fees refunded.
this auction is setup the exact same as my starscream one (also mine)... and i don't see them ending that one...
