The seller of the second link...I believe is a poster on Seibertron. He has one of the case pictures in his sig, and mentioned buying them by the case.
Scumbag douches make me want to slam their faces into the pavement.

Firstly, if you can get a sealed case you aren't buying them from the store, thus you aren't a scalper.

Ehh... one can get sealed cases from the store if the stocking manager is crooked. Those would not be legitimately acquired. And then there's the issue that these are.. exclusives. For normal non-exclusive products that any distributor can order, I'd be more open to the possibility of doubt that the person bought them legitimately.

right. these are the worst kind of scalper. these cases are going only to wal mart so they are putting them aside before they get to the shelves, then either selling them to someone for a cut or buying them at an employee discount to sell on ebay. if they get caught walmart would fire them immediately.

Can't speak for everyone but I managed to find a store that had them still sitting in the boxes outside in a trailer for a number of days. I sold them to people at what it cost me to drive out and get them. The store I found them at was 2.5-3 hours from a metro area. It literally is out in the middle of nowhere. If you ask me Hasbro should have produced more but that's questionable based on the previous MP sales.

I hate to play devil's advocate when it comes to scalpers, but this kind of thing might not happen if Wal-Mart paid their employees a living wage. I have a friend who's worked for Wal-Mart for 5 years and makes the same amount now as I started with at previous (non-retail) jobs. Employees would be less willing to risk termination for a few bucks if they weren't dirt poor to begin with.
