Just got a Thundercracker ... and I hate his bot mode ... and the Jet mode =(

So maybe I will post this as a kitbash if I find the time to give him less sucky arms and a new chest.

I got a Movie Dropkick the same day, and just for testing how TC looks with a chest:

Maybe a mod can move this topic to Kitbashes as soon as I find time to remove his tail, and maybe make the old chest swivel to the new front. If it doesn't allready belong in "Kitbash"

What do you say ? Is it worth the effort to kitbash him into a more humanoid bot mode ?

Though the execution could use a hell of a lot of work, I like it!

You'd need a way to get rid of his tail. I'd suggest chopping the nose part off and gluing it to the rest of the cockpit somehow so that when it folds up it's all of it.

The arms could also be lowered. And for a new automorph, perhaps when the legs peg into the chest for the jet mode it could press the chest down?

I'm not sure how you could fix the leg poseability, though.


But wonderful idea. Dropkick's bed cover looks wonderful on Thundercracker like that.

Stupid me ... the tail came off with some force, nothing broken of course =)
Now it's still connected with the cockpit and on TC's back.

I tried some different arms, but the only ones that fit were from a Gorilla Prime (dunno which one) and did not look better, so he still has his original arms ...

Have you tried shortening the rods that connect the arms?
