Two: He's not real to begin with. Three: he's an evil, 50 foot tall robot who's millions of years old, so that's Robophilia, Gerontrophilia, necrophilia (He's dead, too.) and cartoonphilia. And I keep pointing out how ridiculous it is on Seibertron, and all I get is "Duh, respect their opinions, jerk!" It's so, so weak. I mean, I wonder what the hell other people think when they meet these people?

Although I feel that this thread may be heading for , I also can't help but agree with you. Yes, it is annoying, and yes, it doesn't feel right to me. But I also tend to just ignore those types of people, and let them have their little fantasies, no matter how perverse I personally feel they may be.

Pascal is right - there are way more annoying fanboys because this fandom is predominantly male. And the "I heart Starscream" fangirls are a minority - most fangirls I know aren't like that... I've known one who lusted after Starscream, one who lusted after Optimus Prime and one who totally has the hots for Ultra Magnus.

But before we blokes start giving the sheilas too much crap about eroticising Transformers let's not forget that there are plenty of fellow fanboys who like this...

Ahem. What I find more annoying than the ones that wanna bang robots are the girls who claim to be fans but don't know the first thing about Transformers in general. It's the same way with bandwagon fans of sports teams; I know of maybe 10 girls who actually supported the Calgary Flames prior to their 2004 Stanley Cup run, and even fewer that know hockey.

On the plus side, I don't see any of the annoying fangirls on here, and surprisingly enough, a lot of the ones I chat with in Facebook groups are pretty big fans, even if they do have an obsession with Prime.

Yeah, from what I've seen, this site seems like it doesn't tolerate idiots the same way Seibertron does. I like Seibertron, but seriously, since the movie, too many morons have signed up, and started Powerglideing over the board. Take Tramp for Example. I'd like to use him as a punching bag. Starscream was never "animated" to be female. He was drawn in the same was as the other Decepticon Jets (ah the number of times animators screwed up the S1 Sky Raiders' colours). It just so happened that Chris Latta provided him with a very screechy voice. Ditto Cobra Commander - so what, are you gonna say that Cobra Commander was drawn to be female too?? Eewww...
