i was able to see the auction when the thread was first posted for a second, i clicked it again and it turned out wrong, but didn't the item description say something specifically about not being a bootleg? IIRC it was also pretty Powerglideing pricey, if it turns out to be a bootleg i'd demand a refund and just download the fansubs and make your own dvds.
Some buyers/sellers don't know if they are official or not because they are factory made, but they are not official. There is even a typo on the case. Instead of saying loved, it says 'toved'.
you shouldn't sell something if you don't know what it is, or at least you shouldn't make claims about the product that you don't know to be true.
if the seller really didn't know he'd have no problem giving a refund, however, more than likely the seller knows exactly what it is and is depending on the consumer to be the ignorant of the two.
That's true but keep in mind these aren't someone's dvd-r's they burned on their home computer. It's an unofficial Chinese release, and the packaging, the discs, the sound, and artwork are done professionally so one would assume they are official. With the exception of the typo, they did an excellent job.
