Won the following DVD's trough eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...N:IT&ih=005

Does anyone know if they are bootlegs or not?
Bestimus Mucho
I think this belongs in Seen it on Ebay.
Tripredacus
The item was removed?

I have this one. It's a factory made bootleg from China, but the picture quality/ subtitles are very good.
bigds9fan
Darn, that is what I feared.

Oh well, guess I will not be counting these in my DVD collection. I only count official DVD's.
New Soundwave
I count bootlegs as well as official in my collection because some of the material I have may never get an official release, at least in my country with region 1. The video in question is region free, which is one aspect you can count on from a bootleg.

Can someone post me a picture of this set?

i was able to see the auction when the thread was first posted for a second, i clicked it again and it turned out wrong, but didn't the item description say something specifically about not being a bootleg? IIRC it was also pretty Powerglideing pricey, if it turns out to be a bootleg i'd demand a refund and just download the fansubs and make your own dvds.

Some buyers/sellers don't know if they are official or not because they are factory made, but they are not official. There is even a typo on the case. Instead of saying loved, it says 'toved'.

you shouldn't sell something if you don't know what it is, or at least you shouldn't make claims about the product that you don't know to be true. if the seller really didn't know he'd have no problem giving a refund, however, more than likely the seller knows exactly what it is and is depending on the consumer to be the ignorant of the two.
bigds9fan
True but the person I bought this one is a very good and friendly seller.

I am sure he did not know this was a bootleg either as it is well made. Some bootlegs are really hard to distinguish from the originals.

That's true but keep in mind these aren't someone's dvd-r's they burned on their home computer. It's an unofficial Chinese release, and the packaging, the discs, the sound, and artwork are done professionally so one would assume they are official. With the exception of the typo, they did an excellent job.
Tripredacus
This does indeed appear to be a fake. I can only find the licensed Chinese version which comes as a boxed set.
