Since they are animals, wouldn't they need to eat,drink,sleep and pass waste? How would that effect their metal bodies and energon levels? If Storm chaser had lived, would she be able to have kits with a part robot and part animal creature even if was possible? The whole concept is gross among other things. I don't think the kittens would be normal for earth creatures or transformers to say the least. I am sure the Vok wouldn't have like such things..

Dinobot ate his clone that one time, and I think they were shown drinking from lakes and rivers and stuff a couple of times.

Come to think of it, yeah, Tigatron lived well away from the others so natural food sources would be his only source of any energy at all.

Probably their robot systems kept them from dispensing organic waste by more effectively converting their food into energy...

...although there was a whole episode about Rhinox farting, so who knows?



As for kids, Air Razor and Tigatron produced Tigerhawk, but I think that's as far as it goes.

They don't transform into animals. They're just robots disguised as animals. That's right, they're robots in disguise!

They can ingest food and convert the carbon in it into fuel, after all in G1 we consistently saw the Transformers fuelling themselves on carbon-based fossil fuels by converting it into Energon.

I'm pretty sure there was a whole episode that dealt with them eating organic food and going crazy. Also, Tarantulus hunted and ate, but not because he needed to sustain himself, but because he really liked doing it.

You're thinking of a BM episode, when they ate from the tree of life.

As for eating food, multiple tiems tehy were shown eating organic food... Rattrap ate an apple, Rhinox ate wild beans, Tarantulas ate several different animals, including a rat, which he ate whole, and it goes on.

They were able to eat foods and convert that into energy, sorta like we do. Probably their super-advanced internal systems used every bit of the food, instead of producing waste.
