This won't count because it was temporary, but G1 Megatron shot energy blasts out of his hands when he had the heart of Cybertron installed in him, and he attacked the Autobot volcano all by himself and was kicking their asses.

Certain episodes of first season G1 featured guys shooting from their hands. Ironhide I believe is one of them. See, its not only a Gobots phenomenon.

I never got how energy that flows through your own body can *not* harm you and still blow up your enemy.

Optimus Primal had arm cannons similar to those of Armada Prime in his initial Beast Wars form. In Beast Machines, his arms only absorbed enemy's blasts and channeled the energy into a weapon he could fire back.

Movie Megatron also has an arm/hand blaster.
