How could you stop a transformers war or prevent one even on other planet beside earth or Cybertron?Maybe a space base.... By gun control or how?

Given the number of Transformers who actually change into guns and weapons emplacements, you'd need to offer/force a lot of reformatting.

Or maybe just offer everyone and everything cheap, super-effective forcefields. No point in having/being a gun if shooting something has no effect on it.
