You're sadly mistaken. There are no such things as "fangirls." It's a myth perpetrated by delusional males that are living in their parents basement surrounded by toys and other collectibles so that they don't look too pathetic in the face of genetics.
Kind of like Unicorns and Kevin Federline's popularity: you hear of them... but does anybody ever really see 'em?

I know Nemesis Prime (i think she was a member hbere at one point and time) liked TF's and my friend Rose likes Starscream a little too much, lots of Chibi drawings of him in her notebook. My friend Brynn likes TFs a bit, but more so she just likes singing the theme song and having the decepticon logo on every other thing she owns. But thats on ly 3 people, out of the few hundred i've met in my life, the fan girls are a rarity.

Hellscream wouldn't have it any other way. Fine as hell and the brains to go with...now, if only I could get her off of the 360

Rule 29 of I-net is not always true. Case in point-myself.
I think 'fangirls' are out there, but are few and far between, sitting back, reading this stuff and laughing at the silly men.
Because of the new movie, I am a recent fan, though I do remember watching some of the Dinobot stuff. I have been reading alot of the fan sites to try to catch up on classic transformers and what is going on.
My favorite right now is Ironhide-but Bbee is very cute and I can see why most ladies would prefer him.

I respectfully disagree. I know of some ladies that are fans of Transformers. For instance, the wife of an ex-co-worker at least showed some fascination for Optimus Prime once I was on their house while helping her husband with a web-related work. I cannot state under oath she was a TransFan but she
definitively like Optimus Prime, because her husband has a MP Optimus figure and I was trying to release his mouth plat to see the supposed skeletical mouth underneath. When I told her that, she was upset and the funnier thing was she stated she
hated Optimus Primal!
Maybe the reason for the myth is because of their short numbers compared to male fans (just as the numbers of female Transformers), but I firmly believe they do exist. But if this believe is the product of my imagination, fine. I don't care! I rather live on a
basement surrounded by toys and other collectibles than joining the outside world which is the one truly pathetic!

Not any more sadder then you can count the numbers of male fans of female-oriented franchises. Transformers, by its very nature, has been a male-oriented franchise, so it doesn't surprise me that most TFans are male. That's not "sad", just the reality of the franchise, and who its target audience has always been.

I find that female fans tend to be more into the story side of Transformers rather than toy collecting. In general, any female fan with three digits to their collection count is doing really well (whereas for males you're doing well if you have four digits).
