Here I am requesting a post button to be added that would do the following:

1. Click the button (durrrrr)
2. It prompts for ITEM NUMBER
3. You type in the item number
4. It adds the item number at the end of this url 'http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item='
5. It posts the text as

It sounds like he is asking for an option like the {spoiler} tags that when you enter an e-Bay link to a post, the Item number is preserved. It seems to happen alot on these style boards that you enter an e-bay link and the board shrinks it down and you get the E-Bay error message rather than the page for the auction. If the number was preserved you wouldnt have that problem occour quite so often.

So I guess the process would go like..
User clicks Post-E-bay link..
Type or C&P e-Bay link
Request user for Ebay item number
Item Number entered
click ok

Ebay link inserted into post..
Kinda like teh process for adding a link as {url=http://www.justtoshowustheidea.com}urltext=CLICK HERE} type thing. Probably ending up looking similar but {http://www.ebay.com {item number x2209639}}
Then again Im NO EXPERT on html..
