i suspose this is a what if scenario people.
how would it have gone over at the time if from that poit on the cybertron animated series had played out in such a way that starscream had literally been split into 2 seperate living beings when optimus prime in sonic wing mode sliced him in 2 with the swords.
with one being of the 2 being an exact look alike of cybertron starscream but with it sporting a g1 skywarp style colorscheme which would use a very dark midnight black for the main color, a very deep purple almost borderling on dark blue for the main secondary color, and a dark silver grey for the secondary minor color with this first being of the 2
literally being a dark starscream
that is to say that this dark starscream would literally be his inner darkside manifested in physical form as a seperate unnatural living being
while the other starscream of the 2 would be sporting a g1 thundercracker colorscheme that would use a midnight blue for the main color, a bright red for the secondary main color and a bright silver white for the secondary minor color.
with this starscream of the 2 literally being the selfless martyr who died near the very tail end of transformers armada restored to life and posessing his memmories from that previous life but also posessing to his person a form of amnesia due to the fact that it would be the dark starscream of the 2 who would have the memmories of the energon cybertron starscream.
what are your thoughts people?

These US plot terms are confusing but fortunately I just watched some GF. So to say there is a bad-ass Starscream and then a wuss Starscream? I can't imagine how Starscream plays out in Cybertron as he is played much better in GF. I don't think that Starscream need a dark half. Most of the time, his dark side is the one portrayed. For the most part this dark Starscream would be the same as the one we always see. The main difference we would see is likely an apathetic Starscream with slight concern for others. I am trying with this perspective:
Megatron is categorised as the evil guy. Not only is he looking to be #1 in the galaxy, but he also doesn't want to do it alone. He wants others with him, even if they are his underlings. While he does want power over all things, he is perfectly willing to delegate control over things to various people, such as leaving Shockwave in control of Cybertron. This would mean that Megatron actually does have some sort of compassion.
Starscream, on the other hand is blinded in a way, where as he wants to be able to do everything himself. He doesn't care about any one else. This is the selfish Starscream that we always see. He will only find pity on someone if they are able to aid him in his current goals or to keep himself alive.
So if we are to see another half of Starscream, I don't think there would be a more evil version of him. It would be more interesting to see a good half instead.

which is basicly how starscream turned out when he died neare the very tail end of armada.
when it comes to my idea though it would be a case of a person literally fighting and facing down their innner darkside
the good cybertron starscream of the 2 being the slain hereo from armada ressurected to life and the evil starscream of the 2 existing in the role of the nemesis to starscreams prime such as it were.

I guess this makes sense. I haven't watched Cybertron but I guess Hasbro changed the story so its supposed to be a sequel of Energon. THen again I haven't seen much of Energon in order. Those stupid Paramount DVDs have episodes but they are all mixed up.

You can get the English dubs from China... and they aren't bootlegs. That's how my Armada one is.

Question: Is the Armada Star Scream that same Screamer in Energon and Cybertron?
