I'm wondering since hasbro did some of the video game drones as toys, will we see the autobot version of Dropkick and possibly the cement mixer drone figures made... also what will it be named if made...

speculations and insight?

I can't speculate on the name, outside of maybe W.A.R.S! and ofcourse Mixmaster or something else...

Don't know if there will be an Autobot version of Dropkick, he is a pretty good mold and you never know he might turn up in the Allspark Power expanded movie line (like the Uricron and Energon Battles did for the Armada and Energon lines) thats ment to be on the shelves soon.

There is a listing for a character called Salvage in wave 3 (along with Overcast the Dreadwing repaint, stealth attack Bumblebee and Jungle Bonecrusher) he might be a Longarm repaint, he might be any of the movie molds that haven't been repainted. Until we see pictures, its purely conjecture.

As for Quickmix, so far. I don't think we'll see him or the forklift truck as a toy.

It is possible, but so far... nothing at all, so I wouldn't get your hopes up.

I don't think Mixmaster and scrapper are being made into toys, which is kind of a shame because they both look pretty sweet.

From the Movie games, the Blottiest drone was the Forklift truck that you could smack around no problem, looked kinda cute.

The Cement Truck was a heavy guy that had armour and he slowly advanced on you, firing his cannon till you threw scenery at him .

The game itself is average at best, so rent it and be done with it. Not worth owning at full price.

Ah, that explains it. Never played the game and probably never will

yea, you should at least rent it, i mean it's pretty great for a movie game, but on it's own as an actual video game it's sorta mediocre. at least download the pc version and give it a go, it'll only take a few hours to beat

The lack of a figure for Scrapper saddens me, because I was a kickass forkift on the "battle for the allspark" game

I personally preferred the Prelude To Energon game. The common problem with most TF games is that they lack a multiplayer function. The Beast Wars Neo game had multiplayer, but I've heard it sucks. tounge1.gif

I'd like to see a figure made of Shockwave. icon_wink.gif

I knew about the cement truck, but not the forklift! Which campaign is he in?

As to the game itself, I bought it(not new ofcourse) at a pawn shop for 12 dollars, and having some frustrating fun with trying to at least get some of the achievements on it for the 360.

Wow to Overcast.... didn't know that was coming out.

Amen.
What we need is a Transformers version of Super Smash Bros. That thing would sell like hotcakes.

They tried that once... twice... they didn't sell like hotcakes. Sure the first one had animals and the second one was only available in Japan...

I really liked the Prelude To Energon game because it was like a First Person Shooter (e.g. Counterstrike, Halo, Quake et al) with adjustable camera angles (1st person/3rd person) and you could use your robot and vehicle modes to interact with the environment and other characters. I really liked how you needed to use Hot Shot's car mode to accelerate to jump over gorges, and then transform to robot mode in mid-air, shooting at Decepticlones while you landed.

The game play in Prelude To Energon was bloody fantastic, but the one thing it sorely lacked was a multiplayer function! Imagine playing that game against human controlled opponents! Fighting computer controlled opponents all the time gets really boring fast.

laughlol.gif Yup. And, just as a guess, this question might have been answered a bit quicker if posted in the Movie Toy Discussion area. But, then again, that forum is lacking in interest sometimes since the furvor is dying down...

As for another name or two or more for an Autobot version of Dropkick: Rollbar, Roadblock, Overhaul, Towline and <my personal favorite> Ox.
