I got to see the pilot episode at Comic-Con. It was awesome. Audience reaction could not have been more positive.

I'm not sure how the quality of the series will hold up over time, obviously, but give that first episode a chance when the show debuts.

They actually have half a season completed--they sat on it as a "mid-season replacement" to counter anything that gets cancelled during the writer's strike.

So you know that 80% of the show is going to be about pointless sexual tension between the two of them, which is stupid because in every show that uses the sexual tension formula, the male and female almost never end up having sex. So I really don't understand how this formula generates suspense if it never follows through.

Maybe it's just me but I watch action movies for the action, not a badly slapped-on romantic sub-plot. Sex is good, I just don't see why it has to consume every waking moment of every male of breeding age.
