Hip-Hoptimus Rime
OK, I was at Walgreens getting some stuff, and I went to the toy aisle like I always do looking for any TFs or other cool stuff. They had FAB Brawl, which I was about to get bec. Brawl is cool, when I remembered the Sigma 6 figs they had had for a while. They only had a few, and the last time I saw them they were marked at about $14. Tonight tho, they were on the other side of the aisle w/ a bunch of other misc toys, like a clearance section.

Let me say that I've been hard-core into TFs lately, but back in the day I was the same way for GI Joe- I had lots of vehicles, incl. the Sky Striker, Dragonfly, and the WHALE, among the larger ones. And a few years ago I started colelcting the big 12" military figs, like Dragon and Blue Box. I have about 12 of them. The Sigma 6 line has always looked very cool to me, but I've resisted bec. I need another hobby like I need a hole in my pants. So on a whim I grabbed a Night Ops Snake Eyes and took it to a register for a price scan, since it was unmarked.

$3.19.

OK.

I bought all 3 they had- Long Range, Firefly, and that Snake Eyes. Over 75% off baby! Sad part is, I had to hide them from my wife when I got home. When she goes to bed soon I'll pull them out from under the couch. grimlocklaugh.gif I might hit another Walgreens this week to see if they have any more. I'm so not well. At least I have jsut about all the TFs I want. Until the Allspark line hits. Oh boy.

So now I'll prob. get hooked on Sigma 6, and damn, those 25th Anniv. Joes look awesome. I see the 5-packs everywhere now. Taunting me. "Buy us, buuuuuyyy uuuusss..."

One last thing- any tips or mods for these guys? 'cause I have that modding sickness, too. Good enough is never good enough.

I love my Black Cobra Commander. Best Sigma fig ever but I'm a little biased.

I have the Cobra five pack as well (first release). The only one I don't like out of the five is the Barroness but I really just bought it For CC and Destro. Great figs and it's cool they come with stands. I love it when figures come with stands as it makes posign so much more fun.

these Powerglideing 25th joes are crazy. i broked my seal too and bought some of 'em. they remind me of childhood lol, but man these are so much better than the ones i had as a kid. i'm not crazy about them like i am tfs though, but they're great for a toy fix, i really do want that 1st series cobra 5 pack though. i might go ahead and pick up a hooded CC as i always thought he was cooler than Helmet CC. really wish they'd have given serpentor a hood though >_>

Lol I got the HISS and the IRON HAMMER from the 3 1/2 inch fig line..

I always thought of that Cobra suited guy (Serpentra?) as the coolest..

yea, serpentor has always been bad assed. i remember getting him as a kid (had to buy him twice) and having mom repair my cape when it broke, eventually she made me a totally new one from scratch lol.

A mate kept Spectacled Cobras he had 2 NOT IN THE SAME TANK! I would ALWAYS bring Serpentor with me when I went to see him, Was immensely funny having him sat there in the tank on his ride with a freakin giant cobra moving around him..
